Comment and let me know your thoughts on the video and which vehicles you like best! I thought it would be really cool to show you guys what I like to do in my free time along with my dad. He and I have been going to car auctions for the past 10+ years together and it is a hobby we really enjoy! Lots of cool finds at this sale. Several Crown Vic's, a couple Ford Police Interceptor Utility Vehicles and a couple Taurus Interceptor models. Aside from the police vehicles there are a few other neat vehicles that were at the sale I decided to squeeze those into the video also.

  • As a current police officer, those crown victims were tanks! We would be hard on them not all of them but they always started up. The only issue I remember having was the water pump failing, but it still made it back to the District smoking and all! Either way you can't go wrong with the amount of tech and durability they have. I say go for it!

I bought a 2003 Crown Vic dark blue. It was a former New York State trooper cruiser. I bought it with 180 K. No rust or body damage either. I got 400,000 miles out of that car. So don’t let the mileage scare you

Geez $1900 for that first FPIU , I can’t find ones in that condition for less than 5-10k around me 😭 I need help finding these deals

I grew up with these Crown Vics, and my school has the only Crown Vic in their patrol fleet, a 2000 model. Since then, my area mostly has Explorers.
  • Thank you for the information very helpful I'm just getting started

The 2nd ford explorer was decent for $3,400 . I would definitely get 1 for that price . will use it as my daily driver for my Rottweiler when we go out...my rottie name is also Eli
  • Got my 2011 CVPI for $2900 with 78k on it from the state police auction. Been the best car I've had to date

Awesome vid bro, straight to the point!! 👍

Hey man, those were some pretty decent selling prices. Yeah some of the cars needed work but a trip to the junk yard might just have those flaws fixed up again for not a lot of cash. Definitely some of profit potential with many of them if you're interested in a fun project and flip.
  • Wisconsin surplus auctions are all on line. The Explorer generally go for around $6,000 to $7,000. What a great deal.

Cool video. I’ve heard that every idle hour on a Ford is 30-33 driven miles, so those explorers have about 400000 miles! I do like CVPI’s, Tahoe PPV’s and Caprice PPV’s.

Not sure how true this is, but I've been told the Explorer interceptors have the inside of the doors lined with Kevlar ( bullet proof) ❓ Thinking of buying one for added security.

That GMC looks great! My dad hit the Chevy version and it was a 2500 with the 305.
