Everyone looks evil when the light shines on their face from below. lol

A very thrilling piece of music when the evil Captain Kirk turns around and looks at the camera

I guess they shouldn't have left the transporter room unattended.

Transporters get up to naughtiness when left unattended.
  • This episode was kind if funny. Evil Kirk wears too much eyeliner, demands brandy like a maniac, walks down the halls like a drunk, the music is hysterical.

that look Evil Kirk gave to the camera when he got onboard just made me start bursting with laughter. very nice episode, though, the music was sweet

This Episode was way ahead of its time. All of his good qualities (intellect, emotion, feminine side, compassion, etc.) were all useless without the savage part of him. Spock was fascinated that all of the so-called bad qualities is what made Kirk a great Captain.

He's not evil. He's just misunderstood.

Before Scotty beams up Kirk, Scotty says "It checks out ok now" referring to the transporter panel. Then before he beams up Kirk, he wants to play it safe and instructs a fellow transporter tech "you better go get a synchronic meter so we can double check". The transporter tech then leaves the scene. Instead of Scotty waiting for assistance to come back with the synchronic meter, he disregards his own safety checklist and beams up Kirk. Then after the "good Kirk" appears, Scotty assists Kirk in his weakened stage. The last order Kirk gives Scotty is "you better not leave the transporter room unattended" as Scotty leaves the transporter room vacant as he walks Kirk out of the room. Nice going, Scotty. If you were a captain of a 757 and missed those major parts of the checklist your next job would be scrubbing the baggage department's toilets.

Man that part when EVIL KIRK MATERIALIZES AND TURNS AROUND THAT LOOK IS CLASSIC. SHIT! I BUSTED OUT LAUGHING SO HARD THAT MY STOMACH STARTED TO HURT (REAL BAD PAIN)!!!

You can tell they're on a spaceship, because there's a big picture of some stars on the wall.
  • E-vil Kirk......I love it. Funny how Shatner seemed to effortlessly take to this role!!!

Man I can already imagine the maddness it was when civilizations in Star Trek universe started to discover and develop the transporter technology. People probably getting beamed up with missing limbs or in the wrong places, getting stuck in the floor/wall/roof, beeing fused up with another people or animals etc etc. Just straight from a horror movie.

Camera angle and lighting is primo. Right out of The Night Gallery and The Twilight Zone..

I like how outraged the tech is when he asked the injured crewman what happened, made me laugh! He actually looked offended! 🤣🤣🤣
