0:50 The person who explains to Cory Henry how to use the Reverb effect unit is Daisuke Kawai. He is best hammond organ player in Japan.

“A lot of musicians get into music because they want to be rich, famous or all of the above. You are already rich once you sit down and learn to play. That’s richness in itself.” RIP Dr. Lonnie Smith

This was nuthin'. When he gets serious, he takes off his backpack.
-
This kind of casual skill throw down is so impressive
-
This man is playing keys that don't even exist..God mode!
-
This man has clearly captured Stevie Wonder’s soul and is keeping it in that backpack.
-
Why is the sound of the Hammond so incredibly timeless? It's as important and as relevant today as it always has been.
-
This is what musicians refer to as 'unconscious'. He's not thinking. He's just flowing. Very, very few musicians ever come close. Totally sick. He's the bomb.
-
Dr. Lonnie Smith just chillin’ in the background eating some snacks haha.
-
I wish there was a radio station I could turn on every Sunday morning and listen to this..
-
Is it safe to say, that it is a universal fact, when musicians reach a certain level, they somewhat play their instruments with their faces ?
-
I am a classical pianist and organist (not a a very good though ;) and it always amazes me how people are able to get such a cool sound out of a hammond organ. It is a completely different playstyle and I admire those who can play it like this guy! Awesome

2:46 i love how expressive he is. we need more people like him, just truly enjoying themselves <3
-
Everything about this performance makes me smile! Pure genius and talent.
-
He looks like the Jimi Hendrix of keyboards
-
he’s playing Boogie On Reggae Woman by Stevie Wonder
-
Love how Cory interjects Stevie Wonder and of course Gospel in to his wonderful playing!
-
Why do I love the hammond so much? It is the real voice of gospel. So human like.
-

For anyone who isn't familiar with organs... he is also playing the bass notes with his feet (unseen in the video).
