Perfect demonstration, you make it so easy to follow your directions. Thank you.
  • I've read this in books, and done it several times, but really great to SEE it actually done by a more competent basket weaver. Great tips and thanks!

Hi Linda, Thank you for sharing your craft with us! I have a question if I may. The copper looking gauge or tiny tube you use in other videos to keep the thickness or the amount of needles consistent is what...? I've seen other people use a straw, but I think your tube is much better! - Thank you!

  • Hi Linda, Thank you ever so much for your wonderful videos! YOU'RE THE BEST! May I ask you where you get your sewing needle from? And, what is the name of it? Thanks! Debra in WI

what thread do you use? I made my first basket with a 4 ply Irish waxed linen, but it's quite spendy. What would you recommend for a pre-waxed option?

how important is it to use the waxed thread? I have inherited a ton of machine embroidery thread that jams up my embroidery machine. I am wondering if I would be able to use that or if it would present a problem. The tread is a little thicker than button thread. I don't want my basket to rot or come apart after all that work.
