Artificial cranial deformation, or head binding, is a practice carried out by cultures all over the world, and throughout time. Dr. Robert Martin talked to us about how the tradition was implemented by figures of high status in Ancient Egypt.

I loved the expression on Emily's face as the Professor described the movement of the baby's skull as it passed through the birth cannel. Obviously, she has never given birth ... And, after his explanation ... she never will!!! LOL
  • @humthappa7159
Grandpa: people now are extrem with doing tattoo's and piercing we didn't do this thing back in the day People back in the day: HEAD BINDING
  • @FullOfGuides
Makes perfect sense, they did this in secret because the pharaohs were venerated almost as gods by the people so of course they had to show up in public with different skull shapes and the people were like "Ohhhhh wow, look at them, they are demigods!"

his voice makes this feel like the most interesting thing in the world
  • I like the old guy, usually elder scientists are so damning it's suffocating, but this chap seems to have intellect with a more down to earth and not extreme to accommodate the alien nonsense. I believe there's life in the solar system, but it's not like we imagine, it could be vastly different from us, our life was created by the right combinations at the right times and is unique, other life forms like us could be impossible to recreate.
