And Bob Ross said "Let's start with cadmium yellow!" And there was light.
-
Imagine Bob painting portraits; he'd say, "And here we may have a happy little eyelash. But he can't be alone, so we'll give him some friends."
-
"Talent is nothing more than a pursued interest" Bob, you're so wise.
-
I think it's hilarious that they actually have a camera setup to watch him beat the devil outta his brush dry
-
The man did water with yellow and red. wow.
-
starts falling asleep BR: "now we're gonna have some fun" forces eyes open again

Bob Ross is the only person ever who could paint over 300 landscape paintings and make every single one look unique.

If Bob could only see the magnitude of the legacy he left behind, It’s honestly beautiful. I’m sure he never dreamed that he would have impacted so many lives. I’m not a painter, or an artist, I’m just an “appreciator” so to speak. Bob has taught me not to paint, but to appreciate. Be humble and calm. Let it flow.

Bob: “Send us a letter with your questions” Me: 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

"What is talent? Talent is nothing more than a pursued interest. In other words, things that you're interested in, you'll spend a lot more time working at, than something you're not interested in. So that's all talent is." Bob Ross

I think a handshake, a hug, and being told I'm good enough from Bob Ross is all I need to cure my depression
-
He didn’t paint to show how good of a painter he was. He painted to show how good of a painter you could be.
-
alternate title: bob ross paints hell and makes it heaven
-
"Not trying to be accurate. Not much detail going in here. Just a basic outline of a cowboy against a tree" paints a perfect cowboy
-
Any time I feel stressed, I put in a Bob Ross DVD. He was a great artist and watching him paint is so relaxing. RIP Bob Ross. You are missed.

Im 15 never heard of Bob until someone mentioned him in a conversation. I watched episode after episode in awe, gathered what money I had and got supplies. Still learning from him and painting, rest in peace Bob and God bless my friend.❤

I love his little giggle when he beats the brush dry.
-
I wish I could go back in time and write him a nice letter. Tell him I appreciate him and wish everyone was a bit more like him. Love the guy.
-
I think it would make Bob so happy to see artists from all over the world still enjoying his painting tutorials in 2023.

The fact that he snickers every single time he "beats the devil" outta that paint brush cracks me up and makes me smile lol
