I can’t thank you enough, this was exactly what I needed to see. It was a small piece of mulch in mine and the plastic covering clicked apart not pulled but mine is from a Nissan Leaf so there will be differences. Again thanks so much for the public service, you’ve made my day and possibly my summer

Great video. Turned out my spring was broken. I simply stretched what was left of the spring and hooked it back up. Unbelievably, it actually worked. Saved me a trip to the junk yard!
  • YESSSS!!! Thank you!!! My mom is going to think I’m a genius when I fix hers!! You’re the GOAT!!!
  • Many thanks from France for the tip! Though the car and the piece were different the problem was the same. I had no clue how to fix this and was wondering how much I would have spent for something that was not that complicated. Much appreciated and thanks for sharing!
  • Wow, after searching and searching, finally you were a perfect match with the problem I’m having. Thank you so much for playing forward what you learned! You helped me so much!
  • Brilliant advice. The mechanism was different on mine so didn't really work like this. I used a dinner knife and as I was fiddling about I loosened a piece of foil that must have been jamming it up! Really pleased!
  • Thanks, I had a small peace of tissu in mine, your video saved me hours and money (for the garage).
  • Thank you so very much for the advise on how to remove unwanted items from seat belt!!As I read the comments I found another person that had a dog latch stuck in buckle! I found out what he did & of course it worked! So happy to have my seat belt back in working order & no need to replace it like car dealership had recommended 🎉🎉🎉🎉

There was some cloth stuck in mine this video gave me the confidence to cut my flashlight on and get to digging before I have to remove the housing. I got the cloth out thank you for this video!
  • thank you so much! there was a DIME terribly jammed in mine, I tried a bunch of small tools to wedge it out to no avail💀 screwdriver popped it out after a few tries before I had to open the whole buckle👏
