We have the 2016 that we bought new. Never a single problem in 5 years. Not a one.
  • First thing...the video production is at a pro level...!! The review was great...straight to the point and no big fuss about it...!! I'm really looking forward to own a Cayenne...!!!

Another good thing about any Porsche is that if you take good care of it, it can last almost forever. I have a Cayenne Turbo that I bought in 2003. The engine still works fine after 160,000 miles. And after replacing some plastic parts on the body, it looks almost looks like a new car.

Just purchased a Cayenne S 2004 myself. Thanks for this video!

The best review of any car I’ve seen in years.
  • Great video. Thanks for sharing your experience with the Cayenne

Lovely car. I have a Panamera which has the same engine and when I got it I discovered that some of the plastic coolant fittings under the inlet manifold were cracked and very slowly leaking and there was a small pool of coolant in the V of the engine. This is something for a potential buyers to look out for on the 3.0L TDI. I love working on my cars and I fixed it myself during the first lockdown, but it took me about six hours and I decided to replace the oil cooler as well which added to the price. I replaced the water pump whilst I was in there and cleaned out the inlet manifold as these DFI engines do get gunked up on the inlet side. I get 50 miles to the gallon from my Panamera on long motorway journeys. I’m delighted with my Panamera. Your Cayenne looks like a lovely car as well!

Great video mate. I’m about to buy a minty 2011 w/ 105km and expect high repair costs but hope to avoid the stupidly expensive stuff…. We’ll see. You’re video is very well done and appreciated.

Let's face it, 30+ mpg for a huge truck/SUV is amazing!
  • Great video fella. I have a very similar 2011 Cayenne Diesel which I have had for a year now, and no one believes you can get 50mpg from these! Mine is my daily and again similarly is driven 80 miles per day on my commute and it always gets over 40mpg although it is A1 and M62 so easy motorway miles. I also have a rattle in the back, think it is a loose clip or something. You and I have lots in common as I have a 997 in the garage too!
  • I love my 2014 diesel, gets me 700 miles + highway driving. Bought mine pre-owned and got the 10K rebate and warranty. Best deal ever! Great video!!

Great review! Thats really great fuel economy for such a heavy car. Have Merc E350 and considering Cayenne (2012 or 2013) for reliability, SUV practicality, ground clearance, handling and comfort and AWD. Love the round looks of Cayenne so I would not mount any box on top of it but as you require the extra space why not, still looks great.
  • On my 2nd Cayenne... love the style, the features and the performance! Only issue has been the transfer case, which Porsche replaced (FOC) under their recent extended warranty program. As for the roof casket --- my feeling is inconsequential, but to me: If it dont fit in the cargo area, it aint going!

I have a 2016 Cayenne diesel and before that, a BMW X5 diesel. I love my Cayenne and have to agree with this video describing how much fun it is to drive. The seats are fantastic! Yes, get the air suspension if possible. It will then go from a terrific highway cruiser to the best handling SUV there is. The X5 was OK but was disappointed by the build quality and reliability. One thing you have to remember about the diesels is that if you drive around town most of the time, every once in a while you must get out on the open road an cruise for about 50 miles to burn out (clean) the particulate filter. If you don’t, the check engine light will probably come on.

nice review my friend... these are really nice, they really do stand out, those porsche lines never fail to turn heads...I'm rock'n a BMW X1 atm, great little vehicle but I feel like I need just a tad more personality and power, and I'd like to tow stuff also, which brings me here....
  • Great video! I am currently considering a Cayenne, trading in my Insignia. I´ve looked at other SUV´s, but there always seems to be "something missing", as to where this car seems to have it all (atleast for what I am looking for that is: higher car, lots of loading space, with a good amount of power and still have a decent economy)
  • Hey Satch. Another great Video. I’ve a 2014, 958 3.0d for 18 months now and it’s done 78000 miles. All good - no issues ! Love the car. Took me 9 months to find the headlamp washer button on mine. 7months ago you did a video where you chipped yours ? Wondered how that was working out? Over the 20,000 miles I’ve done, returning 41mpg but mainly Runs to Manchester and Durham and back. I’m pretty happy with that, touch better than my giulia veloce
