It's amazing how creative humans get when it comes to hurting others

The people who inflicted these experiments should have been subjected to their own experiments.

The human mind can be truly monstrous when it has no limitations.

The Tuskegee experiment is waaaaay darker than you explained. They used a black nurse to give the men a false sense of security, and the cdc was aware of the study and informed in the 60s that it should be shut down but decided it was better to let it keep going.

That first story is nuts.

Finally, something not war related

I had a neighbor who was injected with cancer in the early 60s while he was in the US Army. He didn't actually get cancer until 1990. The army told him they had injected him with cancer in 1990. He never told anybody and his wife found out after his death when she was sorting through his things.

Psilocybin can also be a very powerful tool for treating intractable (aka difficult or even impossible to treat) headaches and migraines. Some people get better after just one dose, administered in a physician-controlled environment, of course. But unfortunately, due to the fact that these substances are illegal in most states, it can be extremely difficult to get the funding and resources needed to conduct these experiments. As someone who has suffered horrible migraines for most of my life, I would love to see these experiments conducted more often, and the research explored and expanded much further than it is able to be today.

I'm a South African who's always interested in history, but I have to say I've never ever heard of those experiments that the apartheid government did to homosexuals I'm genuinely shocked because even our current government which always villianizes apartheid has never brought up this in any of our history studies Thanks the Infographics Show for educating people about the hidden atrocities done

Some of these lasting several decades make WW2 crimes look pretty tame.

Little Albert's mother was already negligent in allowing her baby to be subjected to this study, I expect she was also negligent in other ways, which likely contributed to his early death.

The major cause of stuttering and stammering is abuse and bullying, and the best way to treat it is patience. Let. Them. Talk. Encouragement and time to talk without pressure allows people with speech difficulties to change naturally.
