It’s no surprise to anyone that the Airbus A380 is a marvellous creation from Airbus. In fact, till this day it remains Emirates' favourite widebody aircraft.
Yet despite this, Airbus ceased production of the superjumbo in 2021 due to lack of new orders and downsizing by airlines.
However, much to the surprise of anyone, the A380 made a huge comeback post-covid
Which made Emirates re-enter most of its A380 fleet back into service, but it gets even better.
You see, Emirates recently revealed a huge plan for the A-three-eighty that shocked everyone.
So, what’s going on?

You cannot beat that A380 flying international in economy for leg room and comfort. It is more quiet inside than other airliners.

The A 380 is unrivalled for passenger comfort. It's a brilliant aircraft and so is Emirates for that matter.
  • YES please continue production of the Airbus A380, I don’t know what else to say, that meaning the A380 is the most incredible aircraft I’ve ever been inside of. I have been very fortunate to have traveled around the world in the A380-800. This probably because of its sheer size is by far the smoothest and most quiet aircraft I’ve ever flown in. A very kind Thank You to Emirates Airlines for staying strong.

Flew the Frankfurt-Beijing on Lufthansa dozens of times, sadly now dropped for this route, the A380 is the quietest and most comfortable aircraft for long haul flights.

Iv flown the A380, iv flown Emirates, both, the airplane and the carrier, to me, are great. When I fly, these are the 2 things I choose, A380, and Emirates, are a good team, love it❤

Would be great if Emirates could take 1 A380 and have a museum. Just to tour the beautiful aircraft up front and closer. Flying in the plane is one experience, the feeling would be great to see more. A380 is a World class.
  • I would actually be very happy for new A380 news, please stop baiting with these videos.
  • They can call the 747 the ‘Queen of the Skies’ and it was a very nice aircraft. But the A380 is the King. Long live the King!

I am a big a380 fan- and will always choose to fly on one of those

there is no replacement aircraft for the A380. The 777x is the closest and misses by over 100 pax in a density similar to what we "enjoy" today. So if as an airline you need the capacity as you are flying to destinations that are slot constrained or slot expensive or you just have high numbers of pax then the aircraft pays for its way very well. Emirates fits all of these requirements. I can see a lot of airlines that have ditched their A380s wishing they didn't in 10 years time if traffic grows at the expected rate.

the A 380 and emirates are the best i have travelled on
  • I have just returned from Sri Lanka on a Boeing 777 er and found the flight to Dubai ok but still quite noisey. From Dubai to Gatwick it was an Emirates A380 and what a difference. So much more space, more comfortable and so quiet. It really is a world class aircraft, I love visitng the lounge at the back to socialise with other passengers - they all agreed it is a wanderful aircraft. Airbus please develope this great product and think about a Neo version!

Airbus (With full funding from the UAE/Emirates) could build an Airbus plant in Dubai and restart A380 production. It is entirely possible, just takes money and the UAE gets a new industry and Emirates' new A380. Improved A380 could also be sold to other carriers. Airbus gets a new plant and won't have to look for room in its Toulouse plant.

Very good news, that Emirates keep the focus on 380's for decade or two ahead. Its the most comfortable and quiet airplane for travellers, from economy class to First Class.
