This complete, glass-out restoration was done with next-level attention to detail, and included a repaint in BMW's Imola Red and replacement of all seals, gaskets, weatherstripping. Inside, the dash was rebuilt, A/C was converted to 134A and upgraded, a RetroSound bluetooth radio installed, and seats were re-foamed and re-covered in leather. Rear Disc Brakes were installed, front rotors replaced, and new master cylinder and clutch slave cylinder installed. Suspension was upgraded to Koni struts with Eibach springs all around. The differential was upgraded to a Datsun 280Z Positraction differential - an R-220 (3.90 ratio) unit.
The Rebello Racing "Big Bore" 3.2L inline-6 is their top-of-the-line Z-car engine, and is described by Rebello themselves as such: "Using the diesel crankshaft and special block preparation this long rod combination is a real torque monster. With cylinder head work, cam and an induction/exhaust system, it produces 320+ HP(fw) / 300+ TQ. Add triple carbs or throttle body injection and get 365 HP(fw) / 300+ TQ."
Purchased as a complete assembly from Rebello, this car's powerplant features triple Weber 45 DCO carburetors and a TWM manifold, producing an estimated 360+ horsepower and more than 300 lb/ft of torque. Auxiliary upgrades include starter, digital ignition, valve cover, radiator and radiator fan, and alternator.
This ultimate representation of the iconic 240Z is offered fully serviced with a clean Texas title.
