This Technique is based on research from Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). Tapping on these meridian points can help your mind and body heal. These points can help stimulate healing hormones within the brain. According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupressure points are the physical locations where Qi—or “life force energy” in the body—can be accessed, and pressing on these spots can help release blocked or congested Qi.

Emotional freedom technique (EFT) is an alternative treatment for physical pain and emotional distress. It’s also referred to as tapping or psychological acupressure.

    At 74yrs old, I have been following alternative health modalities for over 25 years, including tapping. You are truly outside the box of western medicine which gives us hope in understanding our bodies. May God continue to bless your ministry of true health.

    Tapping was one of many modalities I used when fighting a rare, aggressive cancer for which I was given 12 to 18 months to live....11 years ago. I had surgery but no chemo or radiation. I would not have thought tapping would do anything, but it does. I thank God for every day i am here.

    Sir, there are doctors, and there are physicians. But you sir, are a healer. I make that distinction because someone can go to various schools and become a physician, with "doctor" before their name. But you took education and didn't stop there. You've taken the entire being into consideration. Thank you, because doctors and physicians make people pay for the benefit of their education. Healers take education and add the education of different cultures. This is a clumsy explanation, but you do what you do, so well, and the information is here for free. You are truly a healer, because you care about humans, period. And I don't think you get half of the recognition and reward deserve. Thank you sir.     Tapping is a life saver for me. As I tap the points I say - I will release my stress today-I am empowered- I am strong- I am loved- Although I get anxious-Although I have pain- I choose to relax - and I love and accept myself- I am relaxed and will have a wonderful day! I do this for about 5 minutes every morning. If I can’t sleep I do it in bed and at the end I say I am relaxing and will go to sleep. Thank you for your great demonstration. Everyone should try it. It works!!!

    Dr M, I started tapping tapping in Dec 2021. Since then, I've let go of 61 lbs and become less stressed, been able to exercise at PF gym 4x weekly, have a great place to volunteer my skills, time 4x a week. You're amazingly erudite on healing one's body - and so generous to altruistically share your knowledge, strength and hope. Stay amazing, Doc!

    Ive been tapping for over 15 years and for me it clears my mind of negative thoughts. Even when I just think about tapping i for some reason start breathing deeper?? This should be taught in schools, its simple and it works

I've bn sober 2yrs now and I must say the techniques that you have shown me helped me tremendously especially anxiety and depression.     Thank you for this video! Such an important technique to spread the word about. I started tapping 15 years ago and it has helped me deal with… Everything. I have been able to deal positively with childhood issues I’ve carried into adulthood, with grief during and after my father‘s battle with Alzheimer’s, as well as various pains, stresses, and anxiety. I find it helps on the first round of tapping to assign a number to the level I feel my condition is. When I am through and take a deep breath, I assess where that number is now. If it is not lower than a two, I do another round of tapping with the new number and keep going until it is very low or gone. Then I proceeded to do a round or two with positive statements. I try to be a specific as possible… If something has many facets, I tap for each facet. It’s an ongoing process. If something I am tapping about brings tears, I tap through the tears. This has been amazingly helpful to me.

  • I have worked in western Health Care system for many years and found it to be lacking to maintain overall good health. As I grew older myself, I decided to try other health modalities and discovered the wonderful world of facial tapping and massaging areas to release lymph in the body only recently. Your videos encouraged my further exploration into alternatives to the areas of maintaining health that western medicine often lacks. Even my mother combatted cancer with alternative medicine techniques where her western doctors gave her no hope and pronounced a death sentence. This was when I was a teenager. She lived 30 more years! Thank you for opening the eyes and minds to alternatives and giving us the knowledge to effectively manage our own health.

    I'm a chronic anxiety sufferer and have been having panic attacks for 23 years now. As I was starting to get into that restless irritation and discomfort, I decided to do the tapping. I can't believe it actually worked!!! And I'm someone who's been on various meds throughout the years, in and out of therapy... so I reckoned nothing this 'simple' could work on me, but here we are and I'm so grateful, Dr. Mandell!! :D

    im a retired MH Therapist. i have used this techniquw, which I learned from Bessel Vanert Kolk, for many years on a range of issues. i even taught it to mt grandkids. IT WORKS!
