I want to be as honest as I can be, "I have never enjoyed learning about history this much"
  • Nice work bro! Summary is, we were never meant to be together as one country.

So basically what this whole thing is saying is that if the tribes in Nigeria had been left alone then we wouldn't have to go through so much suffering and poverty today coz we would have never left our self sustaining farming to become wage earners.. understood

"Indirect rule meant that the bootlickers, collaborators and traitors could remain in power, as long as the British collected their taxes." --Fixed that for you.

Another type of slave worth mentioning is the Chief Eunuch (known as the Chief of the Girls). He was an Abyssinian slave captured by the Ottomans whose job was to manage the concubines. He was made a eunuch for obvious reasons. People always like to stress that he was black because of their hatred for black people but his subjects were other East European Eunuchs. He became very powerful in royal politics kind of like Varys in Game of Thrones.

Well explained - the background music could be a bit quieter.
  • The North vs South problem is still existing. Just recently, my cousin in Nigeria (Igboland) was texting me about gunmen from the North coming to her area killing innocent people for no reason. She saw her friend get shot to death.
