We find ourselves in a unique time in history, a time that doesn’t allow us to be together in-person during Holy Week. But I’m grateful that so many of us are staying home, staying safe and, in doing so, keeping each other safe. We are united in this effort and in this moment.

I want to take this time to acknowledge and honor the sacrifices and courage of those who work every day taking care of their communities in this time of need and uncertainty.

The first responders
The doctors
The nurses
The midwives
The domestic workers
The store clerks
The janitors
The postal workers
The pharmacists
The delivery workers
And so many more!

The heroes who are making our daily lives possible. Let’s continue to support them and each other.

With gratitude,
Mariah

It’s windy in there. Even indoors she is a force of nature

My dad passed away on Wednesday and my mum is on life support and I cant go home to the funeral or see her cos of the coronavirus restrictions. But this song just gives me strength. Thank you. Update 20.04.2020: thanks to everyone for all the comments and replies of encouragement and prayers its so appreciated and unexpected. Unfortunately my mum has also passed away (18.04.2020) so I also wont be able to make her funeral. For the people that are wondering, I'm from Cape Town, South Africa but live in Ireland, and would need to undergo a 14 day quarantine if I did manage to get a flight home, so I would have missed everything anyway. My siblings are keeping me involved as much as possible with video chat and streaming the funeral etc. I also got to speak to my mum before she passed. Hopefully when this is all over I can get home and see my siblings and family and have a proper memorial for my parents. FYI. they passed away due to natural causes, not Covid-19 Thanks to everyone again - its feels good to be part of the Lambily :)

  • Mariah will always be number one. Her voice is perfection and her music has touched me in ways that can't be described.
