    Watched Johnny Crawford closely in my youth. In school in the late 1950's and even well after The Rifleman had ended its initial run, kids often called me "Boy," "Mark," and later "Lucas." I was born two years to the day after Johnny Crawford's birth. I was born on Prince Kuhio Day 1948. On 26 March of this year I celebrated my seventy-sixth birthday.
