    A lot of people are commenting the same thing: “they added an option for smaller lobbies” I know, I mention this in the video, but at the time of upload, between Dev and Today I’ve played 100 matches with that switch enabled and never got a smaller game. I have since had several smaller games (assume more people are enabling the option) but even still it’s very rare and only ever 12v12. Still too large.

    modern day air rb: -take off -couple people crash -get launched on -defend against missiles -recommit to 80% of the enemy/friendly team dead -giant furball ensues around one player -more people crash and teamkill -game ends

    This is like when the F-14A came out, except these missiles don't pull 10ish Gs like the Aim-54, these things pull harder than IRCCM dogfight missiles.
  • Why is it that no one is talking about the fact that not everyone spends GE to rush grind and not everyone have premiums? How about the damn near impossible stock grind now?
  • Also absolutely nothing changed in BVR aspect. People are using these as overpowered IR missiles or spam-shooting them like good`ol F-14. And you still cant have close fights due to being constantly 3rd partied, now with new toys that you cant flare even in theory.
  • Air needs a new game mode. 16 v 16 sucks and these super quick matches suck.

    In my opinion they just dident think through some stuff like, some maps being absoulute hell due to the mountains or hills, or some planes like the swedish Grippen A not having any Fox 3 at 12.7 and having to grind 420k rp for the Grippen C, in my opinion the matches arent harder but just more annoying

    I've had 3 12v12 games with 5-6 hours playtime and honestly... I didn't even realize it until after I died and checked the scoreboard. It's playing basically the same so far.

    Played around 15 games yesterday at 12.7 and my conclusion was this. Either they increase the 60m multipath back to something like 80m, or they really need to fix trees and valleys not being counted as terrain. There is literally no skill involved in surviving a match now, unless you wait "outside the map" for the two teams to murder each other and then come in and clean up the guys who won the lottery and survived. Almost impossible to dodge/flare/chaff everything that is thrown at you. It's prob realistic in many ways, but it's sure as hell not fun.

    im having fun grinding gripen c (which sweden should have had already) while dodging aim-120's , literally doing defending for first 5 minutes or flanking everyone to get into aim9m range

    Had some 12vs12 matches: Waayyyyy better than 16vs16
  • I honestly just like that while multipathing isn't completely gone, it's no longer the end-all be-all of missile defense
