What is it really like to have a project car for one year? I show you how far my drift car, the DriftStang, has come with a new fuel pump, supercleaning, and ebrake, to coilovers, exhaust, and angle kit! All of these modifications were done in my driveway with common hand tools! I also show you how much better I am getting at drifting! Adam LZ also drifts my car which was a lot of fun!

Every DriftStang Video is listed, in order, here (day I got it, fuel pump, cleaning, coilovers, etc):    • How to Build A Drift Car (Series)

Coilovers: amzn.to/2CIZiQR
Racing Seats: amzn.to/2EJM5YD
Exhaust System: amzn.to/2CyJpyI

I mean let's be honest here. Chris is really a non-hateable guy. I cant think of a single reason anyone would want to hate on him. He's really entertaining, and helpfull! Thank you, Chris!
  • @josetheclerk
You can tell Chris actually cares. I haven’t seen any YouTubers still check the comments on 6 year old videos. These are always fun and informative, keep it up!

One of the most inspiring youtube channels out there. I say this because i had no interest in engines or the mechanics of a car until i watched your videos. I have now researched and learnt more about cars in the last week than i ever have thanks to you. If teachers taught students the way you produce your videos kids would be better off
  • @hamzterix
We don't know each other but man. I am so happy for you. Your achievement is an inspiration.

I love your videos so much! Once I got into cars I was so scared of my car- meaning doing things myself to my car. I thought it would be impossible to fix things myself and was always so bummed because it’s so expensive to get things done professionally. One day I decided to look up how to paint rims at home- just to see if it could be done. I found your video and have been watching you ever sense. I’ve learned so much and I’m no longer discouraged from doing things myself with my car. Thank you so much and keep doing what you do cause it’s amazing!
  • I love these videos on the drift stang, i have a 2002 v6 mustang with the 5 speed too, which i learned to drive stick on as well, but the cars are very similar in most aspects and watching your videos inspired me to do more of my own customizations to it, I put in a fiber optic headliner kit like in the Rolls-Royce, a quick release steering wheel, and im working on the shifter today! But i love these videos and the inspiration you've shared with countless people and the positive energy put into the car community and how you show that cars and working on them isn't really as ominous and hard to do as it always sounds, obviously i havent been able to do as much on my car but thanks to you i have a whole list for once i get the money for the parts. :) keep up the great work man!
  • I think your subs were as excited as you were dude. Like watching a good buddy make strides. Glad you're out there.
  • @Unknown-ix2jx
You turned a $1500 car that wouldn’t start into an absolute beast!
  • @Reggerss
Dude this is so awesome. It reminds me of when I was building a Track day car! From stock, I slowly started modifications to further enhance the cars' performance. What a nostalgic video! great job man!!!
  • @kevalhira854
Thanks to you Chris I’ve started working more on my parents cars as they started to believe in me due to the videos I watch from you thank you so much
  • @Jcarlo1320

  • @prodcyrillic
This vid is 5 years old now. I remember watching this 2 hours after it came out
  • it's really amazing to see how you've improved, I've watched the video 50 times and I'm still amazed, great job💪
  • @briannamay9828
When I was in highschool last year I took an automotive class and the teacher would always play these dumb generic videos on how to fix things so one day I said "you really gotta play some Chrisfix man he'll even teach you something". Every class till the end of the year we played 2 Chrisfix videos at the beginning of class. Keep doing what you're doing 👊

All i can say is your channel is such a help and super entertaining too. Your videos inspired me to buy my first car and build it for drifting, a 2001 s500 Mercedes with 300hp and rwd. The saying "the cheapest Mercedes is the most expensive Mercedes" was never more true. First, my coolant needed a change and I did it with your video. Then my belt was squeaking, and sure enough you had a video for that. Then, my heater core was acting up and you had a video for that too. You've saved me at least a couple thousand by now and i can't thank you enough
