17th August 2015 - Here in this detailed video shows me boring out and facing these cast aluminium electric motor end shields which I cast in my home foundry using my smallest electric melting furnace and Petro bond foundry sand (see my other Youtube videos for more details of me casting these electric fractional horse power motor parts)

The video is just shy of 25 minutes long but gives a good detail on what happens to the motor end shield after it has been cast showing the machining process before this newly cast part can be used to construct an electric motor.
