Bdubs just exudes short gremlin energy, it makes it feel like he's shorter than average.

It's funny hearing him say that 5'10" is average, because it's technically taller than average (5'9"), but it's his insecurity that makes him sound short

I honestly feel like the whole bully bdubs about his height has become more of an inside joke at this point. Like, it started as teasing, then it became spiteful ribbing, and bdubs eventually went 'fuck it we ballin' and rolled with the gag at some point. He knows the viewers and other hermits love it so he indulges them every now and then. (sometimes quite comically) I feel the same way about Grian and Buttons, like I could easily imagine it started as a one off gag, then Grian 'clicked' (unintentional pun) something in his brain and he got addicted/ fixated on them. You could say he became quite ImpulseSV about it.

You missed my favorite one. In season 7, I don't remember when exactly, but Scar lowers himself off a slab and says he's on bdubs' level, and bdubs yells, "YOU THINK YOU'RE SO FUNNY?"

fun fact: Bdubs is taller than 9 other Hermits, the same height as 4 others, and shorter than 11. meaning that about 45% of the server is taller than him

Between doc and mumbo towering over Grian, the bdubs height allegations, and the lineup skizz, tango, and impulse did during the hot wings stream, I NEED to see a height comparison between Skizz, Mumbo, and Doc. They might as well be 7 feet tall in my brain

This is why bdubs doesnt go to cons anymore, he doesnt want anyone to learn that hes really 4'2

I love this gag that came from his NHO days when he was shortest among them (Etho, Doc and Beef are all 6ft+ while Bdubs is 5’10) has carried over to HC and then the life series and probably to a lot more, and now others tease him about it even if he is taller than them lol He just puts off small gremlin energy

I like to imagine that BDubs has one of those measuring things that they use at the doctors office in his room and he measures every morning how tall he is

The newest minecraft update actually is adding a command to change the size of players so it’s great to see the game is accommodating Bdubs and the rest of us who can’t reach the top shelf at the supermarket.
