They always wonder who’s the pianist? But never think how’s the pianist?

I played with this guy. 1 or 2 years before the pandemic.. we were with the Romanian Youth Orchestra in the Enescu Festival and I remember that he brought cookies for all the members of the orchestra (he was the soloist). Everybody loved him, as a musician as well as a human being ❤️ he is blind, indeed, but he is full of passion and talent, a piece of jewlry, proudly representing Japan on the big stages. God bless him !

Music is not about notes .. it's about feelings,emotions... Touches your soul, releases your pain

This brought tears to my eyes before I knew he was blind, and that he wrote it for the victims of the tsunami. Beautiful. (2023).

No matter how fast and accurate your fingers move on the piano, your music isn't complete without emotion.

He doesn’t need to see the world, the world needs to see him

He's not closing his eyes because he's overcome with emotion....Nobiyuki Tsujii is blind, has been since birth. How amazing is that.

You know damn well when a music piece can make a grown ass man cry, just shows what music truly is. Great job Nobuyuki, you might not be able to see but you are able to move emotions, and that is what a true pianist should value and prioritize.
  • He not just playing a piano, he is playing his happiness, his anguish, his grief, his sorrows, and his soul. This is what it means to be a pianist “and musician”
  • There are two types of pianists: Those who read the piece, And others who feel it

That was played so damned perfectly. He didn't rush not one note. The melody breathed openly, wow it twas gorgeously performed. Such passion just perfect!

    この公演の後、忙しい中、時間を作って辻井さんは被災地を訪れ手を合わせて祈りを捧げていましたね。 本当に思いやりのある心の美しい人だと思います。

If you didn’t already know - he’s also blind; that’s why he has someone to escort him on and off the stage. Truly amazing this man is!

there is no race nor language barrier when it comes to music.
  • So moving. When I read of its creation for the tsunami victims it had such impact on my soul. Incredibly beautiful work by an incredibly beautiful person.
  • No matter how well you play, no matter how well you sing, if it doesn't resonate with people's hearts, it's not called music. This is what music is
