"If the problem is related to food and money, then the protest should happen in whole of Pakistan, why is it happening mainly in Pok."

It's quite possible that JK does not have population growth, but according to the international weekly, The Economist, Malappuram, Kerala, is the fastest-growing city in the world in terms of population. Malappuram is probably the first district in India created in the name of religion

As per our Congress CM Revanth Reddy Pakistan is in better condition than India I don’t understand why these people are protesting in POK

Dear Shekhar ji you are absolutely correct. The actual Kashmiri people from the Kashmir valley are ethnically and culturally distinct from that of "Kashmir" in Pakistan. I put the word in quote marks because actually the "Kashmiri" in Pakistan at best can be termed Jamuiites... As that is what that territory was before taken by Pakistani army and labelled 'Azad Kashmir'. As to the people on that side they are ethnically, genetically and culturally Punjabi. They speak Potohari which is a dialect of Punjabi. I feel people should be aware of this...
  • Imran Khan went for extreme socialist policies. Rahul and Kejriwal could do the same. Consumption based growth may happen but macroeconomic instability could set in. In democracy you get what you deserve

"Infuriating how SG is talking about how these are problems for Pakistan. I'm sorry, that land is Indian. We will take it back."
  • if you give free electricity, free everything ...india is going towards similar direction...Nothing is free
  • @anantsahay9340
My understanding of history tells me that the economic unrest starts a political protest. Why underplay this?

  • As a Kashmiri in Azad Kashmir i am thankful that the nascent pakistani state helped us in our fight against the indian invasion in 1948. NO we do not wish to join the indian fascist state.
  • @Ab_Wolf
Get these lands back for the Kashmiri Pandits and restore the temples
  • @craumm
As an avid BBC reader I have not seen anything on this. Probably just a fake news on protests 😂
