  • Which Tokyo Ghoul OST/Song cover should I do??? I'm thinking maybe "On My Own"
  • “I’m not the protagonist of a novel or anything. I’m just a college student who likes to read, like you could find me anywhere, but if for arguments sake, you were to write a story with me in the lead role
 it would certainly be
 a tragedy.” -Ken Kaneki
  • 'Tokyo Ghoul' wasn’t perfect, But it still left a mark on people’s hearts like after you finish it you just feel empty inside because you know you won’t find another’s treasure like this one
  • There's something magical about Tokyo Ghoul. It's not perfect, but it gave us something truly special. I can't even explain exactly what it is, but we all felt it. It's like Sui Ishida captured certain emotions and vibes with his story so perfectly that it affects one's soul.

Tokyo Ghoul is one of, if not my favorite series of all time. The characters, story, arcs, symbolism, it’s all amazing. Sui Ishida crafted an amazing story that sadly hasn’t gotten the adaptation it deserves (even though Yutaka Yamada composed the amazing soundtracks) I hope everyone that’s seen the anime ends up reading the manga as it provides such a different experience. Thank you for doing a cover of this track Samuel, your work is incredible as always.

I'm crying. I remember the day when I first discovered Tokyo Ghoul. It's the first time I genuinely love (not romantically) a male character for who he is personally. Before I knew it, growing up I'm starting to realize how parallel my and Kaneki's situation, specially the part where he becomes Haise and he split into more versions of him. I thank Ishida-sensei for making me feel not alone.
  • Who is your favorite Tokyo Ghoul character? Mine is.... Touka Chan!!!!
  • The writer of tokyo ghoul is literally a genius! 'Tokyo Ghoul' is such a beautiful sad story i absolutely loved it i enjoyed this anime more than i thought i would kaneki is such a great creature.

This thumbnail is one of my most favorite shots of Ken in the manga. It contains so many emotions. To me, it looks like in the utmost chaos, he finally found a little peace and hope.

This is coming from an EXTREME Tokyo Ghoul fan. Tokyo Ghoul was something extremely special to me because I discovered it as I was a teenager, an edgy one sure, but this series helped me learn something. As I got older, I decided to read the manga and was impressed by something I already loved. Tokyo Ghoul means a lot to me when it comes to the emotions the journey puts you on when you experience it. And I want to say that while the original captures the feel of the series in a different way, more of focusing on Kaneki and his struggle against the Darkness of the world, you captured the feeling of everyone he had to support him on his journey, and the power of the Light in Tokyo Ghoul.
  • Almost 10 years passed .....I'm still here I don't know why but Tokyo Ghoul owns a place in my heart. A year passed since I commented this and Im still the same, crying over this...

Not even going to lie, Dragon Ball introduced me to the anime world. Tokyo Ghoul brought me further into it. Hearing Unravel in the beginning made me tear up like crazy. Why couldn't the show just be a masterpiece
  • This ost is truly beautiful and unique in my eyes It gives an really relaxing and enjoyable feeling while you listen to it but at the same time it gets you in the feels..With that being said I'm eager to see how this new version will sound like
  • Finally. All my life I have been listening to this melody at least once a week. I played it on guitar and piano and wished I could also play it on somewhat else. I consider this soundtrack to be one of the best anime music compositions ever composed. Everytime it gives me chills, tingles, joy and tears, every kind of emotion. Sometimes I was laying at night without sleep, thinking about how so much unrecognised and underestimated art is buried there under the weight of people's misperceptions and preconvictions, about how true beauty is often really close to you and all it takes is one sincere try, one shot to the anime, that almost everyone hates. If there ever will be another Tokyo Ghoul anime, all the soundtracks and openings from the previous adaptations should be absolutely used there too. There should be a public petition for that, or something. Now I can only prey it will come true. Thank you, Kim, for this wonderful version of one of the best musical compositions I have heard in my life
  • @ErelasInglor
The original of this is so well balanced and amazing, can't fathom how you've been able to make your personal touch to this track.
  • @MK32491
No adequate words to describe, but as for inadequate ones: simply beautiful
  • You're literally a genius! your takes on some of the most popular songs are arguably better than the originals. You have helped me write scene after scene for my book so really thank you for all that you do and keep on creating!! Id personally love to hear more of your original compositions if you have any in the works! Been listening to your music for years now and you never disappoint. Much love for this channel

I love Kaneki, we both just try to be happy and live a normal life but it always ends up badly. Becoming a monster each day, while we suffer deep inside because we look back and see how kind and caring our old selves are. Loosing sight of who we are, what we want. Disregarding our own dreams and passion just for the sake of making others happy, trying to be better. But still ends up entangled with our cruel fate. The difference is he gets a happy ending.
