He breaks every rule, is awkward, moves strangely, doesn't train well. He throws these strange hook/uppercuts from half a mile away-- and he wins, and dominates, and thrills, and all of it in a respectable gentlemanly fashion. He's one of my favorite fighters.

He should have been p4p long time ago and still isn’t!! He’s way better than half the p4p list. Especially Haney

  • WITH MOVING UP IN WEIGHT CLASS NAVARRETE HAS TO ADD MORE SKILLS, HE HAS POWER BUT THE LEAPING IN & THROWING SELF OFF BALANCE NEEDS TO STOP!!

These are comments for the first fight: Commentator extraordinaire Tim..."One thing you cannot do against a taller fighter is lean back, especially if you're the shorter man". 🤔 Tim doesn't get sarcasm, either. At the start of the 4th round, Tessitore stated this was Navarrete's first fight outside of Mexico, fighting for a title, then Mark sarcastically stated, "Obviously he's completely intimidated by the bright lights of NY City". Then Tim chimed in to explain why Navarrete wasn't intimidated...🙄 The clown commentators were arguing over the punch that hit Navarrete's shoulder and glanced off of his head as not a slip, but a knockdown. The ref did not call it a slip, he called it as a punch to the back of Navarrete's head, so no knockdown. 🥸

I dont even understand why mexico and puerto rico even have a rivarly when mexican fighters beat them 90% of the time hard to beat people who have fighting blood in em 😂
