Thank you for video . Years back when DJI realise first Mavic drone i bought it , cant remember but it was around 6 years back. I tried range test and it Fly 7km in one way and went back without issues . So assuming is not a big gap between them and small improve for 6 years ....

Will it do this sort of range with the old controller that does not have a built in screen ?

Next time turn off the obstacle avoidance sensor, it was use less energy

Did you fly in the FCC or CE area.?

You could have got more out of it, try cruise control and don’t record inflight to conserve battery
