  • Al Jardine constantly sticks up for/translates for Brian Wilson. Nice to see.
  • Interviewer: "How's it feel singing those leads?" Brian: "On What song?" Alan: "......Please Let Me Wonder" Brian: "It feels mellow, it really does. It's like..." (breaks into singing start of Please Let Me Wonder) ".....sweet!" LOL! That's why we love Brian Wilson! God bless you Brian.....

Al Jardine is clearly very intelligent and very thoughtful. And articulate.
  • @SuperFringy
Brian is very honest. Someone who was close with him back in the 60's described him as someone with no malice or guile. He struggles to articulate after suffering brain damage. It's a tragedy what happened to poor Brian but at least he knows people love him and his music.

Brian recently had back surgery. I don't know if this was before or after. Also, Brian struggles mentally after being damaged by Landy for over-prescribing high doses of inappropriate psychiatric drugs. He's a trooper for getting out there and doing shows and interviews.

Did anybody else notice Brian looking at his watch. He made it so obvious. Also Al Jardine has a great Radio Voice.

we love you Brian,we love you all.thank you for the music

Brian is as Brian always will be...as honest as honest gets :) I've watched him do many interviews in which he does the same thing with his watch. He doesn't hold back...he says what's on his mind, he does what he wants to do...he's just being Brian. It's the childlike quality about him...it's sweet and that's why we all love him!

My brother and I met the Beach Boys back in the eighties. We picked Dennis up off the floor to which he was very thankful. He was very friendly had the voice of an eighty year old and was very dissipated, Mike Love was a real ignoramus and was trying to pick up girls half his age. Brian was one of the nicest people I ever met in my life. His last words to my brother and I was "God bless you guys".
  • Bruce Johnston is obviously a very gracious and patient guy. He seems like a gentleman. And you can tell he has to be that way with Mike’s strong personality. Just seems like a guy you can have a drink with and come away thinking he’s a great guy.

This was a very great interview. I know there’s a lot of people who dislike Mike Love but he was a gentleman here and acknowledged Carl and Dennis Wilson and was respectful to Brian. He was very good in pointing the spot light on the others. There was nothing to get annoyed about at all
  • @gmbdaly
Beach Boys are awesome but omg Brian Wilson is such a real loving and giving person love the way he says what 's going through his mind when singing I Just wasn't made for these times and Brian replies "Ah Nothing, it comes from my throat, out of my mouth into into the audience, there you go" love it!
  • Five Music Legends here! The Beach boys are one of the Best Rock and Roll bands of all time.
  • @snugglyorange
I like the way that when Mike says that being back together is 'really good', Brian Wilson waves his hand in front of his nose as if to say 'Bullshit'.
  • Cool how al is always defending a protecting Brian. Especially after the interviewer asks Brian how he is commercially minded.
  • @TheRumblingVoice
Bruce Johnston's answer to joining the band after Brian retired from touring was extremely diplomatic. Like.
  • @musicmatty67
Mike is right about performing songs that represent different types of fans. Great interivew !
