Different audio on this one, what do you think? Have a damn good day Edit: Thank you for the feedback!!
  • So let me get this straight. She goes to the police, and the cop is like "Oh I can't help you. Maybe talk to a convict, he might be useful."

I feel better since I’m mentally prepared for an exam, a debt game, some ghosts, escape rooms, zombie outbreaks, a zombie outbreak on a train, death games, a death game I’m in because someone browsed my search histories and turned me into a cat, and how to beat literally a killer running into my apartment. Might I say I’m slightly prepared?
  • So...if she had just taken the money, no questions asked, no tape watched, could this have been avoided?

I watched this show on Crunchyroll. The sheer stupidity of the main character makes me really angry BUT the games are really well made and the other characters are interesting enough to keep you entertained.

I still want Cinema Summary to make a movie like this and have a character that isn't stupid. Have a damn good day

I wish the game never forced her into playing originally, she just kinda accidentally joined up without any knowledge before hand. I think it would have been more impactful, and make her character multidimensional if she knew the risks before hand and joined the lair game anyway.

I've read the manga and I honestly don't mind Nao and her willingness tp help others trope. Sure it is not necessarily ideal for the Liar Game but it kind of makes Akiyama's strategies more impressive, having to circumnavigate around Nao's principles and all of that.

With the validity that Cinema Summary calls out the absurdities in these crazy scenarios every time, I am starting to speculate that he should have the 1,000,000, instead.
  • i enjoy the movie and the solving of the movies problem but the fact you bring up real life psychology is the golden ticket. sent me down a rabbit hole on heuristic thinking. good stuff.
  • After hearing the rules, I think the best option would be to give each other the money so we technically ‘stole’ the other persons money. In the rules, it doesn’t say you keep what you save, just what you steal, so the best solution is to use the million yen to trade for the other persons yen. This also has the be if it if not making enemies, as everyone’s happy

I love how the real lessons Cinema Summary teaches us aren't really how to survive dangerous situations (which he does do) but that we shouldn't be too trusting towards strangers, because we never know what their real motivations are. Which is a damn good lesson. Have a damn good day!

"How to Not Lose $1,000,000" I've never had a million dollars to lose, so I must be doing pretty good.

I'm having Danganronpa flashbacks about Celeste Ludenbergs back story. of how she won a tournament of liars putting all the other opponents penniless

There's definitely gonna be a part 2 to this, can't wait for that!!!

Man, you might never see this message, but it's been a while now that I wanted you to know about it. You really helped me a lot during a period I was so depressed and had practically no will to survive. One day I stumbled over your "as the gods will" video. I enjoyed it a lot and watched all of your videos. Funny enough, it gave me some determination to live because I knew that if I had to face a life or death situation, I'd be willing to survive no matter what. Since then, I've been so excited waiting for that cinema summary notification. And today I was over the moon when I found out you did a how to beat video about the best serie I ever watched, Liar Game. Thanks a lot man and each day to come, have a damn good day !!

This show has an organization that can actually make a profit. People fight over cash and when the fight is done, the winners profit while the losers get debt. If that debt is obtained by any means nessecary, the organization has reached equilibrium. If the winners want to drop out, they must pay back some of their winnings or all of it, so the organization gets a profit.

I love Liar Game, I've watched the entirity of the series including the movie and honestly I was surprised how the ending turned out, but I enjoyed all the deception and the strategies Akiyama came up with

14:00 No. The young lady can't stop playing. But, the conman can stop playing. The conman isn't technically a player. So he could have walked away until he went to stop the young lady from playing and became a player that way. 30:00 So another player having your name plate doesn't prevent your vote from being counted. So the strategy of stealing someone's nameplate to nullify their vote wouldn't work. So stealing someone else's nameplate would be pointless unless you could get it off of the premises. Also, there is a much simpler way to beat the Liar Game than anything that you laid out: Lawyer Up. No court would say that watching a video tape constitutes agreeing to a contract when you were not given any warning to that effect. So keep the initial cash, find a good contract lawyer, and beat the game's organizers in court.
