  • I don't think the chef that put the cheese on the side of the burger was confused. I think he knew exactly what he was doing! 🤣

Imagine a person ordering Century Eggs and then getting a few century old eggs

I worked in a pizza place when I met my husband. He used to come join me for dinner. He ordered a large jalapeno pizza one night. He asked for extra jalapenos because the last one didn't have enough. My coworkers decided to see if he was "man enough" for me. They put them edge to edge over the entire pizza. They brought it out with a smirk and stood back. Then their jaws dropped over the next half hour. He hadn't eaten all day, and he ate every bite. Said it was the best pizza he ever had. After that, he would order "edge to edge" jalapenos. And they would make them.

James Fridman is so well known for his jokes and just being a generally good person that people go to him specifically to see what he would do with their picture. but if someone is trying to hide something they were born with he responds with words of encouragement.

I worked at a pizza hut. One person requested a pizza with no sauce, no cheese, just bacon. Bread and bacon. We didn't know if it would even cut. Turns out, it does. The sheer amount of grease held the bacon pieces on.

Explaining directions to privates in the Army and my own kids taught me a great lesson: be specific as you possibly can with absolutely zero alternate thoughts. It was a very difficult lesson to learn and even more difficult to practice.

I used to work at Wendy's, like 30 years ago, and knew how to order from there. Going through the drive through in the particular Wendy's that I used to work at, I ordered my usual burger with extra extra pickles and mustard. I hadn't been there in years and the window cashier tried to argue with me, so I asked for the manager. The manager assured me that they could make my burger to request.

I'm pretty sure the kitchen was upset because it wasa mountain of pickles , sloppy with mustard, and absolutely perfect for me. I was pregnant and that was exactly what I wanted 😂😂😂

In college I worked at a Pizza Hut. Management allowed us one free personal pan sized pizza per shift, so as poor students we naturally tried to fit about an entire days worth of calories onto those precious 6 inches. I routinely consumed pizzas that had a minimum of 2 inches of toppings heaped on over 3 or 4 layers. The hard part was cooking it so that it wasn't all raw underneath the top layer; the trick is to partially cook the bottom layer, pull it out, and then add the upper layers. It would get absolutely soaked in grease, which today gives me heartburn just thinking about it, but back then with my 19 year old digestive system I enjoyed it that way. After working there for a year and a half though I couldn't even look at pizza for years, although today I'm back to enjoying the occasional more normally proportioned pie.

As a ex pizzahut employee I can say people like this DO EXIST I made a big new yorker which is a basic large handtoss pizza stretched to add 2-4 more inches of pizza (dough) and basically they asked for exactly 96 pepperonis and well. I gave them what they wanted and they were happy one of the craziest order I got was a personal pan pizza (the smallest pizza you can get about 6 inches in diameter ) but they wanted it to be a SUPER SUPREME with every single topping we had. And we had 36 to choose from some being steak, jalapenos, bell peppers, chicken, meatballs, pineapple, and black olives. Needless to say both pizza were monstrosities but the customers were happy 🤷‍♂️ (for those curious a big new yorker is 16 inches long 1 foot and 4 inches.)

I used to work at a pizza place, we had a reuben pizza that we would make with pizza sauce. Had a customer call and ask to have it sauced with the 1,000 island. This has been done before, and the mayo in the dressing does not like to be in the pizza oven for the 30-40 mins it takes to cook, and will come out tangy/funky. The customer insisted that that is what they wanted. A few mins after getting the pizza they called, and wanted their money back. They did not get their money back. That was what they wanted

Mom told my sister to wash the dishes when we were kids. My sister washed them and left all the soapy dishes in the sink. After that mom would say, wash, rinse, put them in the dish drainer, and when they are dry, put them in the cabinet/drawer where they go.

When I was a delivery driver, we advertised pizzas with 40 slices of pepperoni. He thought it was pizza cut into 40 slices.

I'm surprised that a pizza I made for a customer didn't make to one of your lists. He told the waitress he wanted extra onions and "wanted to know there were onions on it." So what I made for him had 3 times as much onions as cheese. I wish I took a pic of it so I could should you but I can honestly say he knew it had onions on it.

OH MY GOSH. That first one actually happened to me once as well! I wanted them to put "as many olives on the pizza as store policy allowed them to" and they gave me something like that.
I loved it! It was fantastic 😍
  • When I was a toddler, my mom made a request that I only use a section of 4 pieces of toilet paper to prevent waste. I decided I would be prepared for next time as well as help everyone else. I tore 4 piece sections until the roll was empty, and folded them neatly, piled onto each other. She wasn't very happy, but she probably laughed about it with my dad later.

Word to the wise. Never order at a food place just before they close. Your very brave if u do 😮
  • @TonyeJunior-zq3ll
Pizza or burger is starting to make me feel hungry right now 😂

I used to work for a sandwich shop where a customer placed an online order for a sub with extra extra extra extra mayonnaise. The sandwich was already completely swimming with mayo to the point that it could not close properly (and was soaking through the paper wrapping), and when the guy pulled up to the drive thru to pickup his order, he asked for extra mayo on the side.
