Yeah but not everyone has a lot of money to spend on a paddle board. I got a cheap one off Amazon and still have a great time using it. As long as your happy with what you got that's the main thing.
  • I have bought 6 cheap paddle boards off Amazon (the cheapest I could find), different makes, all cheaper then the cost of one recommended paddle…. I have experienced excellent results and we used the heck out of them, lakes, rivers, kids, over loading i.e. two adults on one board. So far have had one that developed a slow leak that I easily repaired with some quality glue and a patch. I have used a kayak seat on one that came with a double end paddle. Have not had any paddle or pump issues. They have been a great addition to our family on the water recreation. Paddle boards are a blast to use, even cheap ones.. LOL
  • Knowing what I do about manufacturing in China, where most of these boards come from, that $300 board is probably the same as the $1500 board just in a different print.

Really ought to have this talk based on budget. Most people shouldn’t go buy an $800 board

200 for a paddle? I have a perfectly good broom just waiting to be used.

your missing the point. people can buy a cheap paddle board realise they like it then move on from there. no one buys a rolls royce if they dont know if they like driving

I think that’s the number one thing is most people are just getting into it and don’t wanna spend upwards of $500,$ 800 bucks and more on a paddleboard plus Amazon you can return it no questions asked nine out of 10 times. I definitely agree you get what you pay for and the hassle of having multiple issues may lead you to buy more quality board.

Dude not everyone can afford $600 for a paddle board especially in these troubling times. It's more important to find something you can afford and then get out and have fun and lower that stress!! Maybe insted of knocking the cheap boards, you can delve in deeper and suggest IF you can only afford a cheap board, then i would suggest "this" one. Just my 2 cents.

I have a board from Amazon. Got it reduced from £220 to £169. My friend has an isup. We meet. We go out. We have fun. There is zero difference between the two boards. I’ve had no issues with mine whatsoever and it comes with a 3 year warranty

I want one for fishing. I’ve been fishing from the bank since I started. Getting one will change everything even if it’s from Amazon.

Amazon has gotten a lot of ppl into this hobby like many others i would never tell someone not to buy a cheap anything if its their first intent to a hobby.

$200 for a paddle as a recommended starting point.... How's that trust fund bro.......
  • @janets3549
I totally agree. I live in Australia and bought the cheapest inflatable board from an online camping store (Adventure Kings). These boards have good reviews on YouTube. However, after a few uses, the board and entire kit are destined for the council clean up. The deck pad edges have lifted right away from the board. In sections where the deck pad is still attached, there are bubbles under the deck pad where the glue is also failing. The manufacturer offered to pay for a tube of glue so I could re-glue the deck pad. Unfortunately glueing was unsuccessful. The paddle is awful and so is the leg leash. "Buy cheap. Buy twice". I'm saving up for a quality board now. Summer is coming.

One thing I have learned in life , you get what you pay for . Thanks for the advice , knowledge helps make a better decision.
  • @knoxjeff
How about reviewing an actual board instead of generalizing all boards from a certain website?
  • @DamaD
Awesome video, I just bought one!
  • @mikarca
Thanks for tips and videos m8! Can you tell me what kind of sunglasses you use, like in this video for example. Thanks 🙏
  • @noahmeme2
What do you think about the body glove kit at Costco?
  • @patrickacox
That was discouraging. $200 for a paddle. $600 for a board. I can't afford that.
