A house CAT became the foster DAD of an abandoned SQUIRREL!

A vet told me to put my cat down, he would never walk again he said he would never heal, I left his office with my cat, clearly in pain, unable to walk or eat. I took the x rays home with me. I prayed over my cat, fed him, gave in drink in minute amounts constant and a month later he showed some improvements. It was hard putting him through all this and hard on me as well. But he survived and began to eat on his own and not only did he regain the use of his legs, he ran. I had him another 7 years. Vets have a thing about putting animals down and grated there are cases where it may be needed. But I was not putting down my cat just because he couldnt walk or use the litter pan. Nor because he would not eat. Did he suffer while he was healing ? Yes. But when he got better he hardly left my side and followed me everywhere as he had done before. I think he had a beautiful life.

This story is bittersweet. Filled with kindness, hope, new life and death. I now forgive the squirrels who stole my fries at the park and threw acorns at me from the tree I thought I was going to enjoy my lunch under.

We've had rabbits, geese, dogs and a cat. Whenever one died, we felt it important to physically present the body to the others, so that they would understand why their friend was no longer around.

Denmark's animal authority committee made an exception to letting Decan's family keep Tintin as a pet was heartwarming. The earlier times on his leash gave him "training" to stay close to CoCo and Tiger. Now Ms Marbles has become a companion but probably Tintin does miss the former cats. Such a sweet story.🐈🐈🐿🐈🐾💜💚💙🧡
