I’m so sick of charter systems they need get hell out of here

If there is no charter deal, it will go back to teams chasing actual purse money. Rewind to the 80’s, not so bad.

From a fan perspective, Nascar was better before the charters.
  • I have seen this kind of tug of war once before. Penske was involved. I see a split just like cart and Indy. The tracks that nascar owns will be the leverage. Race teams will split and find other tracks to run on.

I truly hope the charter system goes under. It stiffles competition majorly. NASCAR was already insanely expensive to get into as a sport, but the Charter system makes it actively impossible.
  • I've always thought that in a negotiation if both sides aren't happy with a least something, then the negotiation wasn't fair.
  • Great information Kenny & Denny, Thank for this! The driver of the 11 sounds incredibly convincing but I'd really like to hear the other side of the story just one time.
  • Do away with the charter system completely. NASCAR and the tracks need to work together to significantly increase the payout for the races. This way revenue to the teams is earned through performance and it helps to promote competition. Charters are stunting growth because new teams can’t come into the sport unless they have one. How many races do we see now where there’s only 36 cars showing up to the track each week? I miss the days where 52 teams used to show up for 43 spots. Your spot in the field should never be guaranteed just because you have a “charter”.
  • Get Your Sugar Daddy to Buy 12 Tracks and Go For it...! Show the France Family How its Done...😂😂😂😂
  • Glorified spec series , I keep up on news like this but do not waste my Sundays anymore...
  • @ronrivas1453
And this is EXACTLY how High Limit started. Keep effin around and Nascar is gonna find out🤔
  • If you guys didn't show up at a race by boycotting races they will get the message

Kenny you are the best when it comes to NASCAR media.

This is all about putting money in Hamlin's pocket

Team owners just need to buy some tracks or spin off with SMI for a new racing series. The fans won't stay with NASCAR, they'll follow the stars which are the drivers and teams. Media will follow the fans.

This is why the cars no longer have associate sponsorship. Those little sponsorship on the front wheel fenders were full at one time.
  • Run your business like a normal everyday business in America. Private jets, multimillion dollar shops to bolt a prefab car together etc... would be a good place to start to bring the 18 million down which is a fictional number since spending beyond what you bring in is just poor business practices. Look in the mirror & start there!!!
