"What is the P stands for? Piece of shi-" Got me dead💀

For Cordelius, I think he is named after the “Cordyceps” fungus. Cordyceps is a fungus that literally turns small insects into zombies, and as you mentioned earlier, Cordelius has gone a bit mad from the toxicity of the mushrooms in the forest, almost as if he got zombified by the fungi, completely changing his personality. So his name for me is literally just a combination of the name Cornelius and Cordyceps.

Funny enough Rico was originally called Ricochet and I’m fairly certain the devs changed it cause everyone referred to him as Rico. I think they changed the name when the remodelled a lot of the brawlers

4:25 I thought they named Edgar after Edgar Allen Poe who was known for his gothic aesthetic.
-
14:35 fun fact: Surge's name gets changed in the Portuguese (Brazilian, that I know of) version, his name changes to Wattson which also references Electricity, by the use of Watts
-
"they wanted rosa to be able to stand her ground" gets blasted in the face by 69 shelly supers in the background

nice video, here's some things I thought of: -"Mortis" means death in Latin, while the word you used is just an adjective -Buzz's name most likely comes from "Buzzkill" -People have a lot of theories on what R-T's name could mean (Radio-television, Recording Tape, Real Time), but his name also sounds like "Artie". His name (R-T=Ar-Tie) gets split in two just like him in game!

Fang’s name actually originates from the well-known martial artist, jackie chan. His surname, chan (陳)translates to fang in english. Thus fang’s name.
-
Grom's name could also have to do with "huge", or "immense", in Russian, "ogromny" Pam spams scrap. Buzz is known for being a little too good at his job as a lifesaver at the Velocirapids. He's a buzzkill.
-
Ricochet was actually his old name before remodel not just skin
-
7:23 “Mortis, language!”

13:04 Lola's name come from a character of a Brazillian tv novel! Since the Brawl Stars character design is also brazillian...

As a hebrew speaker EVE does NOT mean mother.
-
Edgar’s name could have also came from Edgar Allan Poe
-
I used to think that Griff's name is because he owns a Gift Shop, and "Griff" sounds similar to gift. But yeah, your explanation makes more sense lol
-
12:56 maybe Janet’s name comes from Janet Jackson? Since the voice actor confirmed Janet is based from the 80’s
-
"Pearl didn't actually turn into a cookie oven or something " got me dying 😂
