Please join me in welcoming Dr. Chris Knobbe! Dr. Knobbe is an ophthalmologist who has been working on seed oil research for the past 13 years. His research investigates industrial seed oils and their connection to obesity, diabetes, and almost all chronic diseases that plague us today.

Sugar consumption levels did not change much between 1922 and 1987; however, obesity increased by 600%! During this timeframe, vegetable oil consumption went from 78 calories per person per day to 497 calories, respectively! The average American gets around ⅓ of their calories from seed oils.

How do seed oils contribute to diabetes? Simply put, seed oils drive mitochondrial dysfunction, inhibiting the body's ability to burn fuel properly.

Seed oils are rich in omega-6 fatty acids that accumulate in our body fat, cell membranes, and mitochondrial membranes. These polyunsaturated fats cause oxidation and inflammation in the body. They are also nutrient deficient. When you consume foods that lack nutrients like seed oils or sugar, your body has to pull from nutrient reserves, creating deficiencies.

Cottonseed oil was the first seed oil introduced into the food supply. It was initially manufactured as machine oil and lamp oil. It was also used as fertilizer and cattle feed. The goal was to make money and outsell butter and lard, and the manufacturers were very successful. By 2010, the average American consumed 80 grams of seed oils daily.

One of the easiest ways to eliminate seed oils from your diet is to stop purchasing food with a label! Focus on whole foods like meat, eggs, dairy, and produce, and avoid processed foods.

I'm a Chef, I never eat out as I know everything has vegetable oil added. It's in everything!! Eat at home is best anyway!

I currently work in a 5 Star hotel in the kitchen. And i know that we are using seed oil most of the time for most of our foods. You don’t have any idea what’s happening in the kitchen. Most restaurants use these oils because it’s cheaper. That’s a fact

Im so glad people like you are speaking out. I had an appointment with a dietitian and she recommend I use canola oil and margarine. I told her all the reasons why I shouldn't and she didn't have anything else to say. Im so sad for all the uneducated people listening to her harmful advice.

Thx Dr. Berg! I am almost 70 yo, moved to Spain more than 10 years ago and I am on olive oil. I never need to buy vegetable oils. The result: no doctors visit for 10 years; traveling once a month in Europe; no extra weight; everyday exercise and sauna in winter. Cooking at home - no restaurants. Simple. I wish everyone to listen to Dr. Berg

My BP was 225 and hospitalised when I got home stopped all seed oil and reduced sugar, used Ghee instead; BP went down to normal within a month.

My grandmother lived to be 92 y.o. and she used Lard for everything 😌... Died of natural causes.

The sugar consumption he’s referring to does not take any consideration, high fructose corn syrup, and malodextrin, which isn’t categorized as a sugar, but does exactly the same thing by spiking your blood sugar levels. He’s providing some useful information, it’s not the complete story.

As a truck driver I learned from Sr Berg and others. That the poison of Seedoils is one of the worst things. I went carnivore and eliminated all the non animal fats except coconut oil. Feel so much better.

Thank you gentlemen!! We need more open discussions like this worldwide!! Barbara O'Neill deserves recognition as well!! God bless!!

Our food supply regulatory regime is corrupt. Companies and industries have been allowed to provide our society foods with little to no nutritional value in order to maximize profits over a healthy society.

Eric, Chris Knobbe on your video will have a tremendous effect on the health of viewers. Thanks to both of you for sharing this critical information.

🙂 When the veg oil I was using smelled like my father's machine oil in the garage. I searched the internet and found these guys. It took about 4 months to lose 40 lbs and all inflammation to leave. Then after 2 years of diligently getting rid of all veg oils i physically felt my body change at first I didn't know what happened then I realized it's been a little over 2 years being off veg oil. Which surprisingly was confirmed in this vid. My journey started when I used to work out hard at the gym faithfully and didn't make much progress, that's when I realized it must be the food im eating. That lead me to diet education eventually to the poison they call vegetable oil. I thank both of you for informing us of all the lies that have been told. We live in scary times when huge Corps can lie and not have any consequences. So I put my faith in Christ He's safe. Thanks again guys I have control of my health. Losing weight is not scary or hard work any more you gotta be smarter than the bad guys.
  • @stlounsbury
I listened to this talk twice and shared it twice, so far. It’s riveting information. 2 years ago I ceased all seed oils, and 100 days ago i started making every bit of my own food from scratch. I feel physically better.
  • @Marysol1fi
Seed oils are unfortunately in so many foods. Have to prepare everything ourselves to be on the safe side 😮
  • @watchmen6504
Every person in America needs to hear this message. The sobering fact is though, many that would hear it would reject it and not want to believe.
  • @myradtrust
Wow! This is an eye-opener. My wife is a herbalist vet and is very vigilant and I thought she was being pedantic about natural foods. Now I am a believer in avoiding seed oil.
