Stephen A just exposed Team USA for Snubbing Caitlin Clark in the Olympics!

Stephen A. Smith revealed an embarrassing fact about Team USA, which could have been avoided by not excluding Caitlin Clark. Since the roster announcement, there has been uproar over the omission of Caitlin, a game changer on and off the court. Caitlin's impact on TV ratings was recognized by The Wall Street Journal, and her selection as the No. 1 overall pick set WNBA Draft TV rating records. Despite her record-breaking performance and endorsements, Team USA's decision was based on experience and standard procedure, which backfired with the team's Olympic losses. Caitlin's absence deprived the team of her skills, popularity, and marketing value, a mistake the committee won't repeat.

  • Before Caitlin Clark the only WNBA player I could name was Britney Griner... and it had nothing to do with basketball.
  • So silly to leave Caitlin off team USA. At least Dawn acknowledged she should be there

Never watched a WNBA in my life, but decided to see what all the talk was about. What an amazing talent. Her super power in my opinion, is her incredible mental toughness and focus. The harder you hit her, the better she gets.
  • I never cared or watched women basketball untill CC came into being. I love watching her she is pure talent. I hope the best in life for her.
  • I'm tired of them saying she struggled in the beginning of the season! Then why did she get rotm?
  • Team USA should be raising hell over their Coach causing no one to watch their games. We watch winners, and without Americas top female player being chosen, many will not watch.
  • Dawn Stanley..... hmmmm- she's trying to make up for the hateful remarks, doesn't play out for me.

How many people was there for Japan? Y'all mean 8,090 for USA. Smh
  • Caitlin Clark saved the WNBA…LarryBird & MAGIC saved the NBA…It’s absolutely ridiculous that she was snubbed

Sad that our kids are forced to see how so many of these WNBA women act. My dad summed it up this way, You Can Take The Girl Out Of The Ghetto, But You'll Never Take The Ghetto Out Of The Girl.. Only person showing a level of behavior, sportsmanship and class young girls can / should emulate is CC..

If I’m not mistaken, the starting guards (Gray and Taurasi) have yet to score a point in Olympic play.

Dawn Staley had to save face it’s easy to ask forgiveness—now everybody feeling sorry for Dawn Staley-mistake-that’s not okay
  • Leaving Caitlin Clark off the Olympic Team was a missed historical opportunity that will never happen again. Just think of all the little kids chucking up logo threes on playgrounds all over the world, who are disappointed. No wonder the WNBA has been in the dumps so long. But Clark will likely be around a long time so maybe they will get out of it.

Not having Clark on the Olympics women's basketball team shows how much their team doesn't care about Americans or its citizens. To have such a great athlete in their sport and role model for athletes because of prejudice is shameful for any American team. Shame on them. They should apologize to America and Clark. I know most Americans are not watching the team this Olympics because of their shame they put upon our country.
  • @gmoneywp15
Forget watching CC play in the Olympics. What I am really excited about is watching Taurasi get her 6th medal= must watch Tv. Lol.
  • @memo134
Why are woman such haters. She would of helped EVERYONE on that team

The W(WE)NBA needs a new Commissioner! Someone who will take charge of the league. A true Commissioner would know that having Caitlin on the team would be in the best interest of the W(WE)NBA and would’ve gotten her on the Olympic team somehow. Putting Caitlin on Team USA was not about her play. The women's Olympic basketball team has won 7 gold medals in a row and I could "give 2 shits" about that. How about 1 shit? Nope, not even 1 shit about the 7 straight gold medals. I've watched women's soccer in the Olympics and nothing else on the women's side in the past. I would've been glued to the TV and also taped the games if Caitlin was on the Olympic team. I am NOT watching the women’s Olympic basketball team. I hope the women’s Olympic team loses.
