Since I was a child, it's my dream to see northern lights.. thank you Jonna for sharing this to us it really warms my heart. Hoping that someday I'll be able to see them in real life.

I first saw the lights in 1990 when i was 17. 3 of us were in a car way out in the hills of Scotland smoking joints. We were stoned. I said "what the hell is that in the sky" It was the absolute beginning of the show, then the colours started. We realised what it was, none of us had ever seen tgem before. We got out the car and within 10 minutes the whole sky was ablaze with red blue and green. It was the most captivating time of my life-i felt like crying as the beauty was too much to bear-and being stoned just made it feel somewhat otherworldly. We stayed outside for 90 minutes watching them subside. We didnt want it to stop and when the sky went black we just looked at each other in silence with huge smiles on our faces. Ill never ever forget that feeling.

Straight from heaven! That’s why it has EvERYONE in amazement of its beauty
  • I never in my wildest dreams imagined that I'd see the aurora borealis from my front yard in Missouri. But, as millions now know, it really happened! I understand the hypnotic spell they cast on you as they dance and ripple in the sky. I had flashes and streamer directly overhead, sometimes moving like waves of flashes moving across the sky from north, over my head, to the south. I saw both the green and the magenta curtains and streamers. I had to force myself to finally go to bed.
  • I'm crying because of this beauty 😭❤ The touch of the creator. The touch of love. Thank you Jonna ❤

My father was an Electrical Engineer. He worked with NASA in PR on SETI and then moved to working at White Sands Missile Range. I grew up seeing the most incredible things. Sights I could NOT share with anyone because the telescopes were not allowed to the public. . The Northern Lights is the one thing that I have always wanted to see. It always looked like a beautiful dance. Like my ballet classes but just in the sky. I told my father that one day I would be on the ISS. That time has passed me, but this one is still within my grasp. I lost my father 3 years ago and I wish he could have shared all of the things he worked on. We know so so little about our world, and even less about space. But, it is a beautiful, almost spiritual feeling to watch this. Thank you 🙏- ❤❤❤❤

As a former resident of Alaska, I tip my hat to you for capturing the most representative video to live viewing the Aurora Borealis. You captured moments that run exactly parallel to the experiences I've seen personally. Thank you so much for sharing your vision so clearly. Absolutely beautiful footage! 🥹

My husband is a pilot (now retired) and he used to fly among these as he flew over the poles. He has taken so many awesome pictures from the cockpit!! It’s a very strange and magical place to be - flying closer to them them! 😮 You can see the pictures from the cockpit in my community page for those interested.

How majestic!! Wow! No wonder the Old Norse saw the world as full of mystery and wonder!
  • It’s like watercolour, as if someone is just painting the sky with watercolours and it’s dripping and, wow. It is truly the most amazing thing ever. I’m literally crying I love this planet. Managed to catch a glimpse of aurora last night in Newcastle. Soooo pretty.

I was extremely privileged to see the Northern Lights for the first time last night, near my home in southern England. The feelings you express in your video echo how I felt seeing them tumbling from the heavens. Excellent video, thank you.

There is no word in any of the languages of this world that would describe the extraordinary phenomenon of the Northern Lights. Thanks for this great show, Jonna. I saw the northern lights once in my life: it took my breath away and caused uncontrollable tears. Wonderful emotions. Thank you Jonna, thank you also mother nature.❤

I saw the Aurora for the first time in my life last night from the South of the UK, I was out for my night-time walk and suddenly I noticed the aurora, and as I got to darker and darker spots up on the hills, my joy increased and I became a wide eyed child literally laughing and crying with joy - more pure joy that i've felt in years. The lights were so bright they cast a shadow... I saw the magnetic fields lines of the earth lit up with ethereal beauty that I will never forget, curtains of light stretched from one side of the sky to the other. I suddenly felt more connected to the universe than I ever have. And I now have another sparkle ✨ in a part of my heart. ... I think one day I'll have to live in the far north so I can go out at night and bathe in that beauty. ❤❤❤ ... If we could all just gaze up at this and put our weapons down 🌠✨🙏🕊️🫶

Saw the Northern Lights tonight in the Pacific Northwest of the United States for the first time in my life. Not anything like in this video, but was still truly mesmerizing.
  • Being from the southeastern U.S. our moderate temperatures and humidity keep us from even seeing many stars in the night sky. It seems that for those of you that persevere the very cold weather and conditions of your winters, you are gifted with the most amazing sight in the sky imaginable. The Northern lights seem so magical and angelic to me. Thank you so much for this wonderful and very peaceful video. It brings me very happy tears.
  • 2023 has been a crazy year for auroras. I've seen them 3 times total this year, with the two most recent being the best shows I've seen in my life. They were both caused by G4 (Kp 8) geomagnetic storms and filled the entire sky with vivid auroras in central MN. Sharp green pillars and extremely fast pink flashes filled the sky, nothing like I've seen in person. I've been up to Iceland before and the northern lights I saw there were blown out of the water by these shows.

This was beautiful to watch. My 6 year old daughter asked about the northern lights tonight so I searched videos to show her and we stumbled upon your video. We were both enthralled and enjoyed relaxing at bedtime watching it before she drifted off to sleep. Magical!
