  • Peele locking the door on a car with no roof is such an underrated part of this video

I love that he puts "YOU SUCK" on the Wikipedia page for Atlantic Records. For those who may not know, Atlantic Records is the only record company that refused to allow Weird Al to release a parody he had already recorded with the blessing of the original artist.

Dude can code, has the time to regularly play DND, is a whiz at trivia, and has a job that pays well enough to afford a home with a nice front lawn. Bro’s my ideal human being

The brilliance of Weird Al is demonstrated in his ability to move from the 80s pop era, to the alternative era, to the hip hop era. What a guy
  • 2000s: Haha that guys such a nerd 2020s: Damn, dude has a house, career, hobbies, friends and confidence

Weird Al's influence is one reason nerd cultures are so popular today. He showed it's okay to proudly enjoy the things you like. Then to just be a good dude and positive person that's so clearly thankful for his fans and life. It's like just such a great example. Do what you love, work hard, be kind, be thankful, and don't apologize when you have nothing to apologize for

    2000s: What a freakin’ nerd! 2020s: What a GOAT!

I love the dynamic in this song where the gangsters were never abusive to Weird Al. They just didn't want to hang out with him.
  • @nollix
Weird Al is a timeless genius, I've loved this song since it came out and it's hardly aged a day. It's because he's clearly a smart guy and actually tries to understand what he's parodying, so it forever feels genuine and clever.

Never noticed it was Key and Peele in the car in the beginning.
  • @CrunkKrow
This song actually makes Nerds look cool. Only an absolute genius like Weird Al could pull this off..
  • @deadpenguin1
In middle school, the robotics teacher "sang" this as part of a faculty lip-sync competition. He won.
  • @code988yay
About half of the things he’s talking about are now cool
  • @Drewzer154
The fact that he chose those 4 X-Men comics just proves he's a comic nerd.

Donny Osmond deserves so much credit, he freestyled for basically the entire song. The BTS of thos is great 👏🏾👏🏾
