Drake is one of the most successful musical artists of our time, but his role as a label head is controversial. We dive into the operations of Drake's OVO Sound, examining the label's impact on artists like PartyNextDoor, ILoveMakonnen, Majid Jordan, and more recently 4batz & Ice Spice. We explore accusations of neglect and exploitation, the concept of the 'OVO Sweatshop,' and the challenges faced by signees. We also look at artists who avoided signing with OVO and the broader implications for Drake's legacy in the music industry.

He's doing what puffy did in the 90s. Drake's just evil, not a genius.

I feel like The Weeknd is the GOOD ENDING, the one who got away and became one of the biggest names in music today. PARTYNEXTDOOR, of course, being the BAD ENDING, as he’s compared to The Weeknd and has limited potential. Thank god Abel didn’t sign🙏🏾

Damn Drake out here colonizing more than Christopher Columbus 😂
  • @hi_c_doe7508
Drake is a selfish person. I’m so happy Kendrick Lamar exposed him.

That "YOU NOT A COLLEAGUE, YOU A FU**IN COLONIZER" Line is makin all the sense

Taylor actually has more credibility as a songwriter than drake, which is kinda funny to think about

I am so happy to see Drake finally getting called out after all these years of me hating on him and people thinking I’m crazy

Mac miller said…. “I DID IT ALL WITHOUT A DRAKE FEATURE”. It’s my dream to turn a drake verse down
  • @chimera_43
A feature from Drake is the musical equivalent to partying with P Diddy 😂 you screwed either way
  • Drake did popcaan SO DIRTY!! Since then I did not support drake. He uses our culture for his own benefit. Drake is following in diddlers footsteps!! Disgusting. 🇬🇾 🇯🇲 popcaan never needed drake.

The saddest one is Roy Woods. He’s so talented and his earlier projects deserved so much more mainstream push

Drake uses his record label as a weapon to take out competition. He signs artists he thinks could threaten his fame, and buries them once they’re signed. He doesn’t want to retire because that means his prime is officially over and he CANT accept that. He doesn’t want to accept he’s getting older and he’s not a young famous pop star anymore. He doesn’t want to hand the reigns over to someone new. He doesn’t want to be forgotten.

As a Canadian who has hated drake since day1, I'm relishing all of this
  • @RealSaiyanGod
Bro I didn’t know Drake had so many mfers literally beat up or silenced. This makes it seem even more possible that Drake had X shot.
