Tears of the Kingdom is on its way May of 2023! We will keep on going with the series until then!

the sad thing about the sos thing, is that in Revali's version it starts after a longer time than the others. probably bc he's stubborn and think he can do it on his own, but later realises he NEEDS Link.
  • @Hene_c
The sos one is honestly pretty scary. The divine beasts have been repeating the last message the champions sent before they died for a hundred years.
  • Tears of the Kingdom is now revealed and we're still learning things about Breath of the Wild. Insane

“Zelda is on her last legs holding back Calamity Ganon on her own.” Moments later… “Take the day off! Play catch with your Lizalfos son.”

Fun fact about the SOS music thing: The SOS all happen at different times in their fights, and I’ve heard theories that it’s representing the different times the champions realized they can’t defeat the calamity - with Revalis coming in way later than any of the others. Knowing his personality, it’s more than likely, if this theory is to be believed, that he didn’t want to admit he needed help, but in the end, called for it anyways - but, as we know, it was in vain. This is of course just a theory I’ve heard, but still - it’s interesting, isn’t it?

I've been saying it since launch; I was so disappointed when the fanbase claimed this game's soundtrack was bad. It's not as bombastic as previous games, but it has so much depth, detail, and love
  • I always heard the heartbeat, but never found out about its meaning. It sends a chill down my spine

The fact that people are still uncovering easter eggs about this game almost 5 years later just shows how much thought the developers put into this revolutionary game. From the music to the map and dialogue, it shows that everything was thought through and put there for a reason. It wasn't just a game, but an experience, one that will remain in my heart forever. I have high hopes for Tears of the Kingdom, and I know Nintendo won't disappoint. Untill then, keep up the great work!
  • I’m already sold on that Zelda’s heartbeat thing, but what if it isn’t just a representation of Zelda’s heartbeat? What if it represents the urgency that everyone at the castle felt during the calamity? Realizing they would die right there. Fighting till they fall. You can also hear marching in both of the Hyrule Castle themes. The marching is easier to hear when you’re outside of the castle I believe. Even still I believe it’s Zelda’s heartbeat. That was just a little thought I came up with.
  • it's almost as if the divine beasts themselves or the trapped souls of the champions are crying out for help with that SOS. Just realizing this sent chills down my spine
  • You can flurry Rush Travelers with a Thunderclap Rush. If they have a Shield they will block your Attacks and strike you down after the flurry rush ends.

Additional fact: the battle music will repeat and not transition to the "middle" battle theme if you are fighting very weak enemies, like chuchus and wolves. The music will repeat and not transition to the "hard" theme, unless you are fighting multiple medium strength enemies(such as an entire bokoblin camp), or a very strong enemy such as a gold bokoblin, with continuous back and forth strikes(if you stay at a distance it also won't transition)
  • The dynamic responsive battle music is amazing. Holy..... I love these series. A game thats 5 years old and A new Zelda already on its way, meanwhile we still haven't discovered every part of this game. What a masterpiece.

Coming from the music world, I think when the composer mentioned the dulcimer, he meant the hammered dulcimer - which plays a central role in the Wind Waker soundtrack along with the mandolin. Not many people play the traditional dulcimer, but the hammered dulcimer is one of the more popular instruments in fantasy game scores, making an appearance in almost all of the city themes in Skyrim and often handling melodic duties in fantasy game & film scores.

I know it’s extremely common for people to appreciate the detail put into this game, but I got chills hearing the secret in the divine beast and hyrule castle songs. So many details that so few people end up noticing and even fewer that care, and yet the developers still put the time and effort into it. This game is made of love.

6:40 I would say that, just like the divine beasts, this is the heartbeat of the king. It starts off normal, then increases as guardians target him, and then goes flat when they've fired.
  • @Jack-lt8hc
The heart beat in the castle going flat after speeding up gave me some chills

This is a great way to celebrate the new trailer for TEARS OF THE KINGDOM! (SO glad we don't have to call it the sequel to Breath of the Wild anymore)
