I enjoy making custom furniture to fit spaces correctly. When it comes to coffee tables, I like to measure the furniture that will be used and identify how the new coffee table will function while considering aesthetics. This was such a great and timely video with a lot of great tips for setting up the coffee table in a space. I recently thrifted some post-modern tables that a square with curved sides and been playing with ideas about placement. As always thanks so much for your helpful insights! 😊

Nice assessment Julie. You did a great job of pointing out the space requirement for selecting the right coffee table design for the living room. I myself use those 1/2 & 2/3 rules of thumb proportioning when designing living room spaces. I also incorporate the special use of the Fibonacci and the golden rectangle proportioning when planning spaces.
