I improved the stream audio after the first animation btw :) HOLY MOLY THIS YEARS ANIMATIONS WERE INSANE, genshin community popped off once again. Hoyofair is one of my favorite parts of the year 🥹

This transition between 2D and 3D in those animations are so clean, I just love that we have fans that put their heart in soul for this game.

Honestly, this Hoyofair needs to be seen by everyone. Literally, every entries have their own overarching plotline with good animation/style. Ps: I can't stress how I love Cloud Retainer and Yun Jin style in the last one.

28:44 The "Moonlit Bamboo Forest" animation is based on books found in the game. It tells the story of a boy from Qingce village who aims to leave but gets lost in the bamboo forest at sundown. In the forest, the boy encounters fox spirits and witnesses the fox bride's procession, a mystical event visible only to children. According to village elders, children who witness this procession must not approach it, or their souls will be taken and used as a cymbal to make music. Despite the warning, the boy approaches the procession and nearly has his soul taken. However, a mysterious woman saves him. He speculates that she may be the White Horse Adeptus. After their meeting, the woman tells the boy stories, including one about the Three Moon Sisters. Legend has it that these sisters would take turns becoming Teyvat's moon and were escorted in a silver carriage. A disaster occurred, presumably killing all the sisters. The moon seen in Teyvat is believed to be the corpse of one sister, while the moon in the Spiral Abyss is of another. The woman at the end is indeed the White Horse Adeptus. Theories suggest she may be the horse that carried the moon sisters' carriage, although this is not clearly stated in the story. For more details, it's recommended to read the book in the game. Also, the animation is created by PASSION PICTURES, a team that has won 3 Academy Awards, 15 Emmys, and 5 BAFTAs. Cécile Corbel, the composer behind this animation, has worked with Studio Ghibli.

One of the animators, Dillon Goo who did the one with Shogun, Kokomi, and the others, he was an animator for Rooster Teeth and he worked on RWBY, you can see it in the art style

The Genshin community has talent, talented animators and talented artists. It’s so cool, I really wanna be on the level of some Genshin artists and animators but with some mental and physical constraints I have (severe mental health issues and low stamina and not many spoons) I am unable to to do so :,] Also this is so cool just woaahhh!
