Yeah... HAPPY "APRIL FOOLS"!
It's not official... but I didn't miss the opportunity to make this version of the classics in the Game Boy Color style. See you soon!
I would have had an SMB5 Deluxe - Yoshi's Island but I didn't have time to finish it or even start so I just made these 3. I recreated almost all the sound effects and even redid some musics. Others are from the VG Music website.
I analyzed every detail that Nintendo R&D2 made for the first game and tried to adapt it as it would if it had continued on the Game Boy Color.
Follow the "Nimaginendo Games" channel, here I do many recreations of other Mario and friends games, as well as fan games inspired by the 80s and 90s.

Despite being April Fools, I really like the concept and I like how Super Mario World is called Super Mario Bros 4 like before and even called Deluxe, despite being a Demake

Those NES song recreations sort of feel like uncanny valley territory They're just accurate enough, but you can feel something is wrong (I'm familiarized enough with the tunes to notice the differences lol) I appreciate the sync in the menus, it's a really cute touch 😅 Amazing work!!

This feels like these should be real roms. Mario World, Mario Bros 2 American version, and Mario Bros 3 would be very different on a Gameboy Color era screen, and probably harder too. The Lost Levels in Super Mario Bros Deluxe is pretty hard because of the screen crunch(small screen)

Had SMBs. DX saw release on GBC in 1998, we would've seen SMB2 DX release in 1999, and SMB3 DX release in 2000! A great 8-bit remastered remake trilogy for the GBC!

Now I need to see a full GBC game of Super Mario World like this! I’ve always been fascinated with the idea of playing that game with 8bit visuals and sounds and seeing this video just made me want to see more of it! Excellent job on making this video! I hope to see similar things more often in the future as well, amazing stuff all around!
