Trombetta di Albenga needs a strong trellis or lots of space to grow if on on the ground. It is definitely not a squash for small gardens!

I grow them since many years in Switzerland after having seen them in Italy. We call them climbing Zuchini + eat them small + tasty! They are the best.

I'm growing this in the far north of Scotland. Not very warm here & my plants are tiny by comparison and that's growing it indoors! 😂 Hope I get some.. yours look great.

I'm hoping I'm not going to regret planting five of these on one side of a double cattle panel arch! I have beans and armenian cukes on the other side. I'm in the PNW, but it's warm and dry already 😬

Well, darn. I was growing it because I read that it is totally resistant to svb.

What do you do to get more female flowers? I have 2 squash growing on a huge and long plant but I have lots of male flowers. I would think I should have more female flowers and more squash by now. I just got my first 2 squash though. I don't see anymore female flowers though.
