Please read: On Wednesday, 20th November 2013, a Virgin Train working the 10.10 London Euston - Chester collided with the buffers at Chester Station, derailing in the 'bay' platform.
Me and my friend found out about this via the internet and decided to head down to Chester to see the damage for ourselves.

they still haven't fully repaired the area behind the buffer, new buffer installed but area where staff and customers put bikes and motorbikes still looks a mess

I know the driver that crashed this....it skidded on leaves and it was just like ice...

I suggest it’s brake failure which speared the voyager into the buffers and took a huge damage to the front end of the voyager
