My wrecked VW Golf R project is starting to come together! After a stage 1 tune the 0-60 is closer to a Lamborghini 0-60 than the stock VW Golf R. I went to ‪@awesomecars1‬ to get some more modifications for the Golf in hope to make the Golf faster than my Lamborghini.

    For anyone wanting to do the intercooler , you don't need to remove the rad pack or the headlights. The bed doesn't need to be undone either, mark the prop shaft before removing it so it goes back on in the original position, then tie it up to the passenger side ( it is a squeeze but possible to still remove the DP) If you live in the NE of England I can help with these hardware installations.     Hi Mat, I work in the development of driving dynamics in Munich (I think you guess which company this could be :) ) and everytime you change springs, damper or install custom rims it is a horror for me to watch. We put so much development into it to make it fit for all damping situations (from fully compressed to fully decompressed). It is not as easy as all those custom upgrade dudes think it is ;). That your tires are scrubbing in the wheelhouse is only one issue. It could also be that cables or your brake hose could get damaged. Just for your information - keep a look onto all of your cars now and again. Anyway - nice job and very interesting what you are doing :). Keep it up (and pls take white or yellow for your Mucrielago :D )

    4.9 secs to 60mph is the stock estate R mate. Standard hatch with the DSG is 4.6 secs. Cool vid as always 👍

    Good Luck with pushing 500hp in R. I have mine at ca. 530-550 but entire motor is changed with turbo. For that price i could buy one more R. But it is worth it!!

    Best build on YouTube Right now! BTW Matt, you do not require a cat-back. All you need is a Resonator delete, changing over the valves is a pain! The standard cat-back is perfectly fine
