As a member of the group who put out the song he sampled, "You're The One For Me " by The Edwards Generation, I'd like to personally thank Kenny Mason for choosing to sample our track for his song "Shell." The song is written by my brother Myron Edwins and recorded in a garage by my family in 1976. I'm playing the drums and background vocals on the original song. Dr Dre recently sampled our song and his track is called "ETA" featuring Snoop Dog, Anderson Paak and Busta Rhymes and was released for the Grand Theft Auto 5 game. Our original song "Youre The One For Me" by The Edwards Generation is available for purchase through CDbaby for those who might want the original.
