This level originates from a year old art collab hosted by lyomi, atlantide, which kinda died and didnt really meet his standards anymore, as the subnautica theme wasnt really respected in the end.
So in october me, him and Ji thought about revamping it, we found a song, but we needed gp so we found cool peoples to make it (no way) , we worked hard for 4 months and here we are now !!

Our main goals for this gameplay was to make a good base for the deco, including a general vibe for the parts and opportunities for the decorators to base their theme on, as well as making sure its fun as hell (its a blast to play if you ask me), so I think we all did pretty well

the deco process is starting soon as I still have to balance the level and bugfix it aswell. Get hyped boys

nah, the song representation should have been the focus of the deco, not the gameplay. Judging by the project Subnautica name, this is underwater themed, but the gameplay in this doesn't feel like it fits that theme well as it isn't very flowy or consistent in it's flow

I’m usually not fond of those weird line-based structures, but they work so damn well in this layout, great base for a subnautica themed level, can’t wait for deco
