I thought it was sweet how the mother came to terms with accepting her daughter's choice. But, I still do side with Randy and the bride's mother. The first dress looked like a amalgamation of nothing but different fabrics, including a piece dangling in front. Don't know what the designer had in mind for the concept of the first dress. Either or, as long as the bride is happy, that is what matters.

I know the dress is not cheap price wise but it sure has a cheap look. She is a beautiful young woman and her mother is trying to guide her to a more classy, glamorous style. In this case, I agree with Mom!
  • "I want it to be classy, but that's not her, that's not my daughter"... probably the most respectful way you could say that you think your daughter usually dresses like trash, lol
  • @truthbom
This is an example of the dress is wearing her instead of her wearing the dress. Sometimes you gotta listen to your mother! :)

Pninaā€™s dresses always look like they belong on a Vegas show girl. šŸ˜¬šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø The second dress was the best.
  • Well, there will certainly be a ā€œwowā€ moment when she walks down the aisle. ā€œWow! What was she thinking!ā€

She's rather petite so the dress was too much for her frame. But, it's the bride who has to wear it. One day she may look back and say "what was I thinking?!"
  • The mother was right, and it's nice she can handle the dress the daughter will wear. I'm shocked someone would even design such a dress.

Pnina Tornai might be the worst thing that ever happened to wedding dresses
  • Randy has such good communication skills. I wish I could be like that. He is so good at saying what is true for him, while understanding where other people are coming from and being able to express it.

I didnā€™t like any of them. Good thing Iā€™m not involved!

Mom is definitely right in this case. The first dress was horrendous.

That first dress was too much for her, it over powered her
  • I gotta say, it doesn't happen often, but this was one of those times where I really disliked what the bride chose. That dress only looked good on her because she was beautiful already, but she wasn't wearing the dress - it was wearing her. I almost always have a "Wow" moment when they walk out in the one - and I didn't get that with any of the dresses she had on.

I like that her Grandma stepped in to remind her mother that it was the bride's dress.

Iā€™m shocked that the daughter thought the second gown was plain and boring. It was gorgeous. He had enough bling, it was a gorgeous silk/satin and the pick-ups were done really well. The first gown is a monstrosity.
