I never know JB is this good. He carries that spirit and the whole team sticks with him.

I feel like we need to start having a conversation about Jimmy Butler being the most underrated player in NBA history.
I mean this dude was getting bounced around the league like a second or third option, and now in his first season with a franchise that actually appreciates him, he's led his team to a game 6 of the NBA Finals with their leading scorer out, a starting lineup that includes a 20 year old rookie, a 23 year old first time allstar, and a sharpshooter who wasn't even drafted, and Jimmy's performing on a level that only Lebron James has ever reached.

Every single GM and coach who ever looked at him and said he's not a guy you can build a championship caliber team around, or thought he wasn't worth the baggage that came with his reputation, should resign in disgrace and be permanently banned from ever working in the sport of basketball on any level.

I love Jimmy Butler as a star player. He's not a high-maintenance diva. He'll scrap, hustle for loose balls, play defense, and go after rebounds. He's the type of player who doesn't care about scoring the most points or having the most shot attempts (although he's been doing both for the Heat)... he's a great team player and will just do whatever it takes to win.

I like his off-court personality, too. He's pretty hilarious.
  • I watched every game of that finals. Butler earned my respect that series. He was just an all star before this series for me. But after this series he's a superstar capable of leading a team.
  • These 2020 Finals made me realize just how DOMINANT and great Jimmy Butler actually is πŸ”₯
