De ligt isnt just a former Ajax player, He was the key player in that ajax team and paired perfectly as Ball playing CB/Libero with De jong at CDM. It was fun to see.

Lots of fans seem to forget that we will need some experiences in our starting center backs, provided that both Maguire and Lindelof will depart this summer. Signing Yoro and Branthwaite look great but they are still young prospect. De Ligt, on the other hand, is only 24 and 25 but already has lots of experiences in him in both league and international levels. That's something you can't ignore.

De ligt would be a sensational buy because he's comanding and composed on the ball and not even in his prime. He'd be a great replacement for varane. Let's hope it happens 🤞

I can see at least one pro and con with signing De Ligt. Pro: we have two center backs with warrior mentality who is not affaid of getting hurt from a challenge Con: both are injury prone

Matthijs de Ligt. Im a dutch guy. You pronounce it more as mathheus (as in lothar mattheus). I think its best to pronounce it liked mat-tice de ligt.
