TPS News Conference - Provincial Carjacking Joint Task Force 'Project Titanium' | June 25th, 2024

On Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at 10 a.m., in the Media Gallery at Toronto Police Headquarters, TPS Deputy Chief Robert Johnson was joined by OPP Deputy Commissioner Marty Kearns and other Greater Toronto Area police services to announce the results of the Provincial Carjacking Joint Task Force and Project Titanium, an investigation into a criminal network involved in violent auto thefts, home invasions and other non-violent auto theft occurrences.

Deputy Chief Johnson and Deputy Commissioner Kearns were joined by:

Deputy Chief Alvaro Almeida, York Regional Police
Deputy Chief Dean Bertrim, Durham Regional Police Service
Inspector Raf Skwarka, Halton Regional Police Service
Inspector Sean Brennan, Peel Regional Police
