Always love these crossover episodes of the Jon Stewart Cinematic Universe.
-
I love how John Oliver is the only host who still wears full suits on his shows but has decided to wear hoodies for all of his interviews.
-
Everytime they say "peanut butter" the auto-captions say "President Bush" lmaoo
-
It is so unbelievably wholesome how john oliver literally just cannot stop gushing about his wife
-
+10 to John for guessing "42". Fucking legend.
-
These two should do a road trip across America show
-
My two favorite late night hosts. The fact that John Oliver picked 42 as Colbert's number makes me assume he's a Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy fan.
-
"Unless there's a sense of internal sadness, I'm not interested" might be the single most British thing John Oliver has ever said in his life.
-
"Linguistic pyrotechnics" is such a clever turn of phrase.
-
Five words: British Milhouse in a void.
-
Time lapsed between "I will never wear it" and "done" made it hilarious.
-
I laughed out loud, because everytime they said "Peanut Butter" the closed captioning said "President Bush." So they were arguing about putting President Bush on an apple.
-
John: " I can inflict pain on an adult. I am become death". Stephen: "The destroyer of Dibbles." Oliver is over joyed at the reference. YES!
-
The dream team
-
I love that Stephen is like very studiously writing all these answers down
-
Dibble may be “the most British of names”, but as a child in Australia I had a classmate named Peter Ramsbottom...that must be the most Aussie name
-
I love how many times John Oliver has been on the show since covid started. He’s basically doing a late show residency and I’m here for it.
-
These two are absolute delights together.
-
If Stephen and John have dinner together, I´d pay for the table next to theirs.
-
the Wawa thing - man I have so much respect for John’s wife’s excellent taste
